• Dog friendly, great staff, location.
• Housekeeping, sometimes short staffed.

“My girlfriend and I have made Ocean Villa Inn our yearly vacation hotel in San Diego. The staff is very helpful and like family, perfect location walking distance to beach and everything. Great dog run outside every room for dogs, also a dog wash spot for when coming back from beach. Tail wagging, good times.”

“My husband and I stayed here with our dog for our 5 year anniversary and we had the best time! The room was very nice and clean and had tile floors which was great since we had sand all over us after being at the beach. Josh at the front desk was extremely helpful and very friendly. He told us about a restaurant close by that was delicious and allowed dogs on the patio so we went there twice. We love the fact that this hotel is on the beach and is so dog friendly. They even have a patio off the room where the dogs can run in a fenced in yard area. This hotel is in a residential section which makes it nice and quiet as well. I know without a doubt that this was our dog's best vacation ever and we will be back soon.”

• Location! Right @ Dog Beach. Steps from the hotel.
• No wireless in rooms, lack of electrical outlets.

“I love this hotel! And so does my dog! Very pet friendly rooms. Very pet friendly staff. And a very pet friendly beach just steps away from your door. Good luck finding beach parking if you don't stay here. Surprisingly clean rooms and a nice breakfast. Plus fruit & other snacks are available all day long in the lobby. Restaurants & liquor stores are located just up the street. Or stock up with your own viands in your room's fridge. I've visited here the past two years to celebrate my birthday and will make this an annual retreat.”

• Not good for wireless, lack of electrical outlets.

“I love this hotel! And so does my dog! Very pet friendly rooms. Very pet friendly staff. And a very pet friendly beach just steps away from your door. Good luck finding beach parking if you do not stay here. Surprisingly clean rooms and a nice breakfast. Plus fruit and other snacks are available all day long in the lobby. Restaurants and liquor stores are located just up the street. Or stock up with your own viands in your room's fridge. I have visited here the past two years to celebrate my birthday and will make this an annual retreat. While I truly love this place, I would be remiss in not pointing out the minor negatives. If you need wireless access, you will have to take your laptop out by the pool as you most likely would not get it from your room. Plus, the rooms could use a few more electrical outlets. Finally, the complimentary coffee is not exactly Starbucks. Aside from these minor points, we love hotel!”

• Clean rooms, free breakfast, beach access, pet friendly.
• Could hear the room above us.

“This hotel is the best doggie friendly hotel I have ever been to the staff is friendly and helpful and informative, the beach access is right there, the clean doggie runs connect to individual patios off your room, kitchenettes are available, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Love this hotel!”

• Comp coffee not so good, bad wireless connectivity.
