“There was food and garbage left outside of hotel rooms and room service would leave it there until the next day. Also garbage can spilled on side entrance and was left there until the next day. Understaffed or lazy staff don't know what to decide.”

• Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent.
• The hotel was surrounded by a rehab center, behavioral center and hospital not my desired location.

“The hotel was excellent! It was convenient to have the kitchen available so we didn't have to eat out every meal. And the continental breakfast was well-stocked with a good variety of items. I was also impressed by the fact that, not only did the rooms have DVD players, the hotel provided a small selection of DVDs to be checked out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“One of the best hotels I've stayed at recently. All rooms are suites, studio, 1 br, and 2 br. Our studio was set up very well. Very clean with a fresh smell. Very good bed. Nice couch and work area. Good kitchen with full size fridge. I would have preferred an oven to a dishwasher but the gas grills by the pool were a good substitute. Two burner stove is a little awkward but no big deal. Lobby and breakfast area nice. Good business suite downstairs.”

• It was very clean, attractive, new, comfortable.
• Too cramped for 3 people; the pull out sofa bed was not comfortable.

“More than met my expectations for the price! Clean, new furnishings, very well kept, attractive, pleasant. I intentionally selected a 2.5 star hotel to attempt to get a suite. The bed was really very comfortable; the pull out sofa bed was really very uncomfortable for my adult son. The buffet breakfast offered sufficient options and was complimentary! Staff was very efficient and friendly. All in all, very positive. I would recommend.”

• For the most part the room was clean, definitely used hard, but clean.
• Difficult to find, severely understaffed, waited 45 minutes for assistance.

“We arrived on a Saturday night at 9:30 in the evening. Initially, we could not find the hotel and when we called (numerous times), no one answered the phone-- computerized phone message did encourage us to leave a message. After 15-20 minutes we finally arrived (without assistance) only to stand in the lobby for another 15-20 minutes waiting for the desk clerk to come back from somewhere else in the hotel. We saw a stand with the hotel operations manager's business card which also listed her cell phone number. We called her and she advised there was only one staff member for the entire hotel on a holiday weekend but she would find out where he was and call me back. The desk clerk (and only staff member) arrived shortly thereafter. When the hotel clerk attempted to check us in, the computer crashed. It was very frustrating. It was not the desk clerk's fault that the hotel was understaffed. He was apologetic, and courteous; in fact, he asked us to let him know if he could be of any further assistance. I responded "youre kidding right?”

• The overall idea of the hotel was good laundry, wifi, DVD, VCR, movies, breakfast.
• The room had dirty dishes, towels, and no weekend cleaning plus I was waked up by large dogs bar kink, and people arguing in the next room.

“The hotel was set up for a family friendly stay, the room had dirty dishes, towels, the walls were thin and I was woken up by a large dog barking in the hotel!”

• I liked the way the business center was set up. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
• I did not like that every time. I went to get coffee the coffee was gone and there was a mess in that area.

• It was a very nice hotel for a great price. It exceeded my expectations!

“The hotel had everything I was looking for. It was a cheap room for my short, last minute stay. It had a full kitchen with dishes, full size refrigerator, and even salt, pepper, cream, and sugar. It also had a coffee maker with a choice of coffee. And, it had everything else I needed for my stay; iron and board, laundry basket, hangers for my clothes, free internet, and TV with a vicar and DVD player. If I ever go back to san Diego. I know where I'm staying!”

• Maid service on the weekend did not tidy up room. Maid did not speak English soy could not understand exactly the reason she was giving.

• This hotel by far exceeded my expectations!
• No Jacuzzi.

“The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. We had a one bedroom suite and it was wonderful to have a fully equipped kitchen and living room separate from the bedroom. All of the rooms (kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and also the closet) were large and it felt like a home away from home. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Stay bridge Suites set the bar very high for our future travel plans.”
