• The fire escapes.
• It smelled bad, the carpet was filthy.

“It's nasty. I am not exaggerating. I was so embarrassed to have taken my girlfriend there for her birthday. I walked around the area and found several much nicer hotels, with amenities. I was so mad.”

• It was well worth the price, especially traveling on a budget.
• The smell in the bathrooms. They could do some type of air freshener. Also no paper towel to wash your hands.

“A place to sleep and store my belongings - I think it was nice. It is centrally located downtown and in walking distance to a lot of main attractions. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly.”

• The hotel was more of a hostel paying at a hotel price.

“I will not recommend this place. When I arrived I was surprise to find the place to be more of a hostel at a hotel price range. When I would arrive at in the evening their were strange people hanging out around the hotel -almost as if they're homeless. My left over dinner was stolen from the refrigerator.”

• If anything, somewhat the location.
• Was not aware there were no bathrooms in the room, just for the floor.

“Would never go back to this hotel, nor recommend to any of my friends. Even for a moderate hotel, it should feel comfortable no matter what.”

“The room was tiny (about 14x12 feet). The full bed (no room for a queen) took up most of the floor space. Community baths were a long way from where we were and not that clean.”

• Not too far from downtown. Free Internet.
• Very cheap hotel.

“Non confirm and dangerous elevators. No bathroom in the room. Lots of noise coming from the streets and from all the room door. No way to close them without noise. Lot of young people that partied. Room too small.”

• Great value, clean, great hostel with restaurant.
• Scruffy by some hotel standards.

“I was definitely nervous after reading some of the reviews. Had booked here & another hostel chose this because of its restaurant & glad I did! Good omen from the start from the quiet, safe & clean steps & entrance even at midnight & welcoming lobby with beautiful Christmas tree. Weather very cold, my room warm, lots of cozy bed coverings. Next day I got a fridge within 15 minutes of asking someone seemed to be cleaning 24/7 so toilets/bathrooms always clean & well stocked great system with digital locks. Elevators scruffy but who cares? They work. Beautiful wood & tiles in the Amtrak station next door photo worthy, plus trolley station. I highly recommend this place  for me this was in fact better than a hotel as I met such interesting people from all over the world.”
