Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[6] • Location:[9]

  • It was near by the state fair.
  • The hotel was not staffed enough, no towel at the pool even when calling. Broken glass in room that cut me.

“The hotel has nice grounds and the workers were nice, but was under staffed. Rooms need to be checked to see if they are completely clean.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • View of lake from our room and sleep number bed.
  • Difficult to find; older property (renovated.).

“This is an older property that has been renovated. It has many one and two-story buildings that are very spread out. Has a nice lake in the center near the main building ask for a room by the lake. Room was comfy but had a musty smell on entering. Was okay for the one night we stayed glad we didn't pay more! Heard a train going nearby. Did not eat in restaurant.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[6]

  • The staff was very helpful and the outside design was beautiful.
  • The spa & pool had mold along the rim.

“I really appreciated the friendly and speedy service of the hotel staff. The outside environment was also pleasing. When I go back to the Radisson I will definitely ask for a room by the pool as those seem to be more upscale. But all in all I had a pretty good experience here.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[7]

  • Spacious, well kept, clean, welcoming and the pool area was nice.
  • No breakfast included.

“This hotel is maintained to a high standard and the staff obviously take pride in their work and value their patronage.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Good restaurant and bar, loved the beds!
  • Trying to find it the first time was a bit tricky. Change the carpet in rooms please!

“Had a very nice dinner, staff was very helpful and friendly, surroundings are very laid back and there was nothing wrong with the rooms other than they need to update the carpets. I would stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[5] • Location:[6]

  • Modern bedding.
  • Location/old bathroom, TV, facilities.

“This is an old hotel that has been re done, but not well. Modern bedding is nice, but other parts of the hotel are quite old - TV, bath, facilities.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Towels and sheets were new and clean; very good mattress.
  • We had a room facing the parking lot.

“Good location; regular size room; free internet access; very good mattress, new and clean sheets and towels; good breakfast buffet; we needed late check out and was granted.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[5]

  • Great fitness center and the large lake.
  • AC was terrible!

“Quaint room. The sleep number bed was not all that comfortable. Those 2 chambers as they call it has a very hard spot in the middle of the bed grinning the full length where the chambers come together. The air conditioner was horrible. I would set it on 65 and 2 hours later the room was 80 and the AC was off. It was 115 in Sacramento and every 2 hours I would wake up in a sweat and have to reset the AC. Great place in the winter I would guess.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Easy access from parking lot to room with door on opposite side facing pool.
  • People were going to boot camp were out of control, especially at the pool late at night.

“Most of the staff was great. On the morning of the second day, the front desk staff was rude and terse. The hotel is really in need of updating; but, nice for moderate lodging. It was not upscale.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[7] • Location:[5]

  • It had a beautiful fountain Courtyard.
  • Too many cobwebs and spider in room.

“It was a decent hotel for the money. The location of our room was way in the back, so if I were alone I would not have felt safe.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • The lake and the pool were great.
  • Small room, no vending machines, no choices for kid food.

“This hotel is great for business travelers and conferences, but the rooms are small. The only dining choice is very expensive and there are no kid friendly options or late night snacking options. I also found ants in my room.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[7]

  • The cleaning fairies were amazing!
  • Location of rooms was somewhat isolated. Possible safety issue.

“For the price, I was extremely satisfied with our stay. We stayed in the older/renovated portion of the hotel, but the rooms were very nice and the beds were comfy. The maid service was amazing! I was able to walk around the main portion of the hotel and the grounds were beautifully laid out. We tried to upgrade to a room by the pool or lake, but unfortunately, they were full. Still, not a bad place to stay for the budget price for our room! Only negative is the budget rooms are isolated and a vagrant came up to us as we were getting out of our car begging for money. Kind of scary, but all in all a great place to stay.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Beautiful lake and overall environment.
  • It is in somewhat of a weird location (not near other hotels).

“This hotel is in a peaceful and classy atmosphere, the staff is courteous, and the room was clean. The architecture is unique and it signifies that this is more than just another "Holiday Inn" type place.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Secluded and good secret meeting spot.
  • I've had bigger and better rooms in the back.

“Great place to romp.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[6] • Location:[5]

  • I was on the ground floor.
  • Bad desk chair, foul smell, rotted wood in room.

“This is an old hotel which needs some updating. All rooms are on the ground and you can park right outside your room.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[7]

  • Ducks, geese and koi.
  • Odd layout, difficulty in getting from the front desk to the room.

“This is a charming hotel in an odd location. The main rooms face onto a large pond/small lake. There are peddling boats for guests to use. The ducks and geese love to be fed. It was a wonderful treat to try out the sleep number bed but it takes longer than my stay to find the perfect number. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing bread to my granddaughter to feed the birds -- even calling them for her!”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • The location was great for the area, the rooms were nice and clean.
  • The accommodation in the hotel were not consistently opened.

“We were in the Sacramento area for a Wedding and chose to stay at the Radisson Hotel because of location. I feel based on the service that I received at the hotel that the rating is to high. The rooms were nice and clean. The exterior of the hotel could use a remodel. The restaurant and bar were not open during regular hours. Also, room service was not available. There was no manager onsite to discuss these issues with as well. It is hard to leave a young child at the hotel with nanny when dinner or room service is not available for purchase. My nanny went hungry.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • The sleep number bed.
  • The dirty carpet, lack of water pressure and thin walls.

“The pros: spacious room, comfortable bed with clean sheets, friendly staff, pretty convenient location, decent toiletry items; nice grounds; free internet available, but not wireless The cons: dirty carpet; shabby bathroom with peeling wallpaper, etc.; pathetic water pressure - the weakest shower I've ever experienced; exceedingly thin walls allow you to hear conversations, alarm clocks, phones, etc. from neighboring rooms; free internet available, but not wireless.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • The select comfort beds.
  • Needs a little updating, perhaps.

“This was our second stay at the Radisson. The room was unbeatable and it is centrally located to all of the areas we need to visit while in Sacramento. The staff is friendly and we never have any difficulties staying there. Will not be our last stay, I can assure you.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Front desk staff - professional and respectful.
  • Motel converted rooms - doors lead to outside, housekeeping and maintenance loud.

“I am fully aware that star levels account for the various amenities a facility offers, but 1-star economy facility given a name-brand touch does not a 3-star hotel make. The building housing the rooms was shabby, with the doors facing the parking lot - 3-stars? The housekeeping staff was loud and inconsiderate in the morning hours, and amazingly, a maintenance man was right outside my outside-facing door at 7:20 a.m. pounding on something with a sledgehammer. 3-stars? No - with a sledgehammer emphasis.”
