• The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic!

• The staff was very friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable.
• The hot foods in the breakfast buffet were not very good.

“Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay. The beds were the most comfortable I think I have ever slept in. Loved the bed! The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast included a good selection, but I would steer clear of the hot foods and eat the fruit, cereal, bagels etc. Fresh fruit, cookies and coffee are available all day. Free. A nice touch. I would go back in a heartbeat.”

• Variety of FREE TV channels, large rooms & continental breakfast.
• Walls are thin and you can hear walking from other tenants as well as water when they shower.

“This hotel was a great place to stay. The only issue we had was that you could hear through the walls when people walked and/or took a shower. Other then that, the place was great and we will be returning.”

• Close to freeway- some highway noise.

“Convenient location makes it a good option for economy travelers who still want access to beach and highway. Good size room was comfortable for multiple people including desk with wireless.”

• Very comfortable bed. Had free internet.
• The hall way was hot. On one night we could hear the person next to us snoring through the wall.

• Friendly front desk staff; pretty good breakfast; beds.
• Maids service in hall and room was poor; forgot to clean our room.

“Disappointing for the price compared to our hotel in San Francisco (a very expensive city. Maid service was poor. Near the freeway, so rooms facing the freeway have road noise. Fortunately, we were able to had a room in the back away from the road noise. Comfortable beds, breakfast and nice guy at front desk were the best features of the hotel.”

• The bed and bedding.
• Patio light stayed on all night could not control it.

“We had a good stay and enjoyed our room. Was nice to have a small fridge. The room was also very quiet and private.”

• Continental breakfast.
• Rooms facing freeway, noisy. Asked for doubles, got king and couldn't transfer us because all booked.

“I wouldn't stay at this hotel again because its not near any sightseeing/activities/restaurants etc. The rooms face a freeway and the noise from the traffic kept me up. Good for business travelers but not a good family vacation hotel. We asked for double beds but they gave us a king and couldn't transfer us because the hotel was booked. There were other hotels a little bit more expensive than this one but in Pismo, ocean views etc., but we were stuck with this. Even after trying to contact them and explain this, they didn't help me and didn't even reply to a formal e-mail. Very upset with the customer service.”

• The design of the room was nicer than expected for the brand.
• The bed was deceivingly comfortable. They were soft but we both woke up with back aches.

“Overall, I was impressed with the quality level of the hotel given that it seems like it would I was traveling with both woke up with back aches (which usually doesn't happen to us at hotels) I would probably not go back.”

• We enjoyed the spa and pool area as well as a hot breakfast. It is a high a quality hotel.
• It was not as close to the beach as we would like.

“Nice hotel with a hot breakfast and a very nice pool and spa area. Well kept rooms. It is not walking distance to the beach (even if you enjoy long walks!) Definitely higher class than most of the 2 star hotels on the beach and Pismo area.”

• Nice thick towels, especially for a non-resort motel!
• No improvements recommended.

“Very clean, comfortable motel, with easy access on/off hwy. King size or 2 queen size beds available in each room, a real treat since most hotels offer only 2 dbl or a king. Holiday Inn Express has now added hot foods to their breakfast buffet, very nice.”

• The rooms are modern with a fireplace. It looked more like an upscale condo complex than a hotel.
• The architect is so upscale it should have been in a resort environment.

“The hotel is new with a Spanish hacienda flavor. The rooms are modern and dare say romantic with the fireplace. I have been to 4 star hotels where the rooms only equal the quality of these rooms.”
