  • You could hear or smell everything outside because door wouldn't seal.

“3.5 miles from I-95, but next to express way. Narrow walk ways, main door would not seal, elevator noise, not hot water in shower, toilet would not flush.”

  • Our first A/C was broken and they promptly got us into a new room at 1AM.
  • The rooms facing the street get A lot of street noise at night; there might be a fire station nearby, lots of sirens.

“Overall, it wasn't bad. Lots of street noise but probably fine on the other side of the hotel.”

“Everything was fine until I turned off the lights and roaches were taking over the night stand and that was not the worse part I woke up to a roach in bed with bed with me how disgusting well I guess its true what they say looks can be deceiving because the room looked to be very clean but not when the lights went off and on top of all that not one soda machine worked not one. I hope I never have to stay at this hotel never ever again!”

  • The staff was making a strong effort to please.
  • Front desk looked a little shabby.

“A large banner hung across the front of the hotel proclaiming "recently renovated", which appeared to be true. The staff worked hard, the room was clean and in good condition and everything worked. There were no problems. For me this hotel was a very good value for the money especially in this area which is quite expensive overall. I would return.”

  • Staff was the one bright spot! He seemed to care for the customers.
  • The rooms were not clean.

“The sign says newly renovated. The dressers are musty. The rooms were not clean. There is not a spa. Not what I have come to expect for a 2 star hotel. The one bright spot was an employee. He did everything he could to make the stay pleasurable. He just could not overcome the dirt! Given a choice I would not stay at this hotel again.”

  • Location to the Florida turnpike.
  • Was under renovation.

“No real problems other than the fact that I got locked out of my room due to the door malfunctioning. Security had to break in, allow me to get my things, and be moved to another room. Very inconvenient and made me late. The carpet in the room needs replacing many stains. But overall, not a bad hotel at all.”

  • The pool was nice.
  • Hotel staff was not helpful. Air conditioner barely worked.

“The staff ignorant, unfriendly and gave out bad information regarding breakfast serving times. The room air conditioner barely worked. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.”

  • Rooms interior was new & very pleasing.
  • There was no working shower!

“They have started remodeling this hotel in all the wrong ways, but are far from complete! Yes bedspreads were new, & they slapped a coat of paint. Road noise was crazy loud & I couldn't even use the shower, it just didn't work.”

  • Price.
  • Shabby neighborhood.

“Neighboring property was abandoned and fenced. Security guard patrolled the parking lot. Hotel being renovated while we were there. Had to change room because air hammer made it impossible to talk. Light over vanity was out and not repaired in spite of our request. Manager did all she could to help. Breakfast bar was generous.”

  • The continental breakfast is very nice. There was plenty of food and a variety of choices. They don't even mind if you take it "to go" or take a little extra with you. T.
  • No one seems to want to take responsibility if you have a complaint. I.E. They forgot to clean our room twice and there was no one to complain to.

“I ordered a King, non smoking and got a double that reeked of smoke. They did change the room to a King non smoking immediately. The door on the room did not seal well at all and it was very moist and humid in the room. Everything including papers and clothing felt damp. They did allow us to change rooms and we were very satisfied with the second room, except for the fact that somehow they dropped us from the cleaning list and skipped cleaning our room 2 out of 12 days and there was no one to complain to. Everyone we spoke to said it wasn't their fault and they could not tell us who to report it to or guarantee that it would not happen again. ”

  • Convenience to turnpike and restaurants.
  • Did not feel safe in the area. Worried about my car.

“Room was clean. Staff was not overly friendly. The room we stayed in showed evidence that the door had been pried open at some time. I worried about the security of my car and my belongings when I wasn't in the room.”
