“This Marriott was very nice and met all of our expectations. It was 1 block from the White Flint Metro station, which allowed for easy transport into DC for tourism and our leisure activities. The hotel staff was friendly and non-obtrusive. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool, but were disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub. The gym was very nice with plenty of aerobic equipment and weights. There were ample restaurant choices in the area and it was relatively easy to navigate the busy roads. We recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again on any other trips to the DC area.”

“I was traveling with two other family members. While booking through priceline, naturally, there was no indication of number of beds. After confirmation, we called the hotel and the staff was very accomendating and guarantee us two double beds. We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed every moment.”

“Modern, spotless, well maintained hotel offering a number of amenities. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant had a good selection. Separate bar-lounge and cafe open early morning and evening. Hotel is part of a moderate size conference center.”

“Very good hotel for the money. Location is away from Washington, D. C. However, easy access to Metro Rail, Red Line Subway, direct line to Union Station where most of the tour buses depart for sightseeing of Washington, D. C. Hotel is set up for the business minded traveler doing business in Washington, D C.”

“I absolutely loved the hotel. Obviously the hotel received an extensive remodeling that likely included new doors. My door did not latch and it had to be slammed. When I returned to my room and pushed on the door, I walked right in my room without using the key card. You could not visually tell that the door did not lock, but I listed for the latch and did not hear one. I understand why housekeeping has never noticed. A maintenance person arrived and repaired the door. While the maintenance person was working on my door I tried calling the front desk to see find out where the network cable was to hook up to Internet. While I was waiting for an answer the maintenance person asked if there was anything else he could do. I asked if dialing 0 should get the front desk. He said yes. I hung up and said, I am just trying to find the network cable to hook up my computer. He went to the closest and got it for me. I was impressed that he knew where it was.”

“Hotel staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Workout area was great, very clean and well taken care of. The hotel itself was very nice. Rooms were kind of small but clean and adequate. Five minutes or less from White Flint Mall and numerous restaurants. Metro was walking distance from the hotel (may be 300 yards) Only downside was the hotel charged $12/day to park your car there.”

“A nice Marriot convenient to the Metro at White Flint Station. Nice small pool. There was some construction at the hotel which was not so nice. A sauna or hot tub would have been a nice addition which they do not have.”

“Great meeting hotel/mini convention. Not conveniently located near the Bethesda business district. Some hotels in Bethesda and Rockville Pike are not ideal for service to NIH.”

“This hotel was nice, but watch out giving them your credit card info. I placed my credit card on file with the hotel for incidental charges for my 1 night stay. A few days after my stay I checked my credit card statement and the hotel charged my credit card for another night stay. Since I only stayed one night the only thing I can think, is someone either stole my information or the staff made a major error with my credit card-since the charges on my receipt don't match what I was charged for the room. I have never had this kind of experience before, and it's sad that it happened at the Marriot which has such a nice reputation. The staff at this Marriot however have given this chain a very bad reputation in my eyes and they don't deserve a good rating.”

“This hotel is right next to the White Flint Metro station. It is very clean with nice modern furnishings in the lobby and rooms. The parking and on site restaurant seemed quite expensive, but you can walk about 0.5 mile to the White Flint Mall where there is a PF Changes and Cheesecake Factory. The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you are taking the Metro into downtown everyday, this hotel can't be beat.”
