“Great hotel! We were very pleased with the place. Bed was very comfortable, towels plush and bedding very nice and soft. Awesome!”

“Anyhow, the stay was very enjoyable, I would stay there again, but compared to other hotels I've stayed in, it wasn't the nicest. The historic factor was pretty cool but it seems to need some updating. The area and the people are great though. Tons of shops, restaurants and bars in a very historic district.”

“Lobby and hallways decorated very nice. Rooms large for city. Older but well maintained. Breakfast included was nice.”

“We stayed at this hotel 6 years ago and it was much nicer than now. We were disappointed especially this time we brought friends along. We had to switch rooms due to safety issues, one room had a broken full length mirror just leaning on the tracks and the 2nd room had a portable heating/air conditioner with a duct hanging out the window supported by cardboard. The rooms need some work and cleaning needs to be improved along with the hotel air/heating system very musty and stale plus cigarette smoke coming through the vents. We were in non smoking rooms and that was irritating. Upon check out we were not asked how our stay was very cold. Unlike Jessica, very friendly and helpful at check in and gave us different rooms due to the problems.”

“Great location. Check in time was 4:00 pm but check out was 12:00 pm. It is too short of time.”

“Then manager told me not to use any of the amenities and then he would waive the fee. This made my stay miserable. I will tell all my friends and business associates about this hotel.”

“Though the location is convenient, the age and poor care of the hotel is evident. Water damage at the elevator bank in the entry is covered over in shoddy and only superficial manner, water damaged art still hangs. The staff is minimal and therefore slow to respond. The shuttle (one of the reasons I selected this hotel) never made an appearance thus costing me $10 for a cab ride. If the do a true renovation, add staff and run an efficient shuttle the hotel would be worth its while. However, for the price and the inconvenience, it is far from being Harbor Magic.”

“The hotel was nice and we would have written a better review if not for the charge that was put on our bill without telling us first.”

“Unless your really down and out I wouldn't stay here again. Unless you enjoy the alley view of the homeless people.”

“This hotel is located in the inner harbor, which was really the main positive thing. They did have a continental breakfast, but the bagels were rock hard. The room is decorated okay, but the bedding, as well as the common areas, was older, yellowing, and unclean. The elevator smelled. The hotel is understaffed was put on hold for nearly ten minutes when calling to find out check-in time. When I arrived, there was only one person at the desk handling all of the customers and only one person handling everyone's parking and baggage.”

“Stayed two nights in the Brookshire while in Baltimore for a convention. It was a nice hotel, very friendly staff, great location, small room and mediocre services were available. They charge you an additional $10 per night as a destination fee. And park you vehicle yourself. You can park in the same parking garage as valet and pay $8 per night less!”

“Hotel staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and neat. Fully stocked bar was not stocked hardly at all. Parking fees were over priced at hotel at 32.00 a day. Air conditioning at hotel was terrible, lobby and rooms were like a heat lamp. Hotel needs some modern cosmetics on the interior. Great location to everything in the inner harbor. Hotel would be 10 star with some repairs and modern day touch.”

“I loved the location. We enjoyed the morning breakfast and view. The hotel was overall fairly clean. I did not like that the parking was not in the building. I did not like the attitude of the service people when we asked for wash clothes. The answers were. 'Sorry were not able to get them, because the laundry dept. is closed'. Then 'Sorry they are all in the wash'! Then, we were asked to 'please use a towel to bathe with'! Totally disgusting!”

“I did not appreciate being charged $9.95 daily resort fee for coffee in the room, newspaper, internet access, free local, 800 call and complimentary breakfast. I will not stay at this hotel again. The bathroom was dirty, the hotel staff did not empty the trash in our room, we did not have wash clothes. Bad experience.”

“Good value. Sheets on bed did not stay on and hardly covered mattress. Pillow were of low quality. Remote for TV was missing. Elevator was not clean. One of the valet parking attendants needed to attend to personal hygiene. Others were just fine. The price was very reasonable considering the location of hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.” Amenities at Brookshire Inn and Suites, Baltimore
