• It was close to the beach and had a lot of stores and bars, lounges that ere in walking distance.
• The parking was a disaster. you had to fight to find parking you had to pay for parking and the staff who was in charge of it was rude and lazy.

“The hotel was ok to stay at if your planning just for a place to sleep. We were on the third floor and the balcony reminded me of the projects in the city, it had nothing separating it from the next rooms balcony. It was quiet dangerous if you had children but the room was basic I guess it had like 6 or 7 channels on the TV. The sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. It wasn't that good for the price.”

• The only decent thing about this hotel was the pool.
• The hotel was horrible. Staff: unfriendly, unhelpful. Rooms: disgusting, smelly.

“This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in. The staff never once smiled, uttered a friendly greeting. The hotel was utterly run-down. The room was the worst: peeling paint, sink sprayed over the edge and leaked onto the bathroom floor. The staff actually cut in front of guests to get into the elevator with their garbage cans, instead of letting the guests go ahead of them. The only good thing about it was the pool. But even that lacked. Would it really cost so much that they couldn't have a few floaters for the kids (and us adults)?”

• Nice pool area. Room had partial ocean view and was able to go outside on the balcony.
• Elevator was very slow, bathroom floor smelled.

“Location was good, the sheets, blankets and towels seemed clean. Our room had a partial view of the ocean and a walk out balcony which was a plus for a standard room. The hotel is old and needs to be remodeled and the elevators were slow. I didn't think it was a 2 star hotel, probably more like 1 star. Overall, it was ok.”

• The fact that it was near the beach.
• One word - cockroach.

“This was not a 2-star hotel. Cleaning people did not clean the bathroom, just replaced toiletries and we had to ask for clean towels. We had to ask for keys to the safe and request batteries for the remote for the TV. Maintenance had to turn the a/c on. We saw a cockroach in the room (even took a picture of it).”

• Staff was somewhat friendly and helpful.
• Run-down, dirty, and disgusting.

“AVOID this hotel if you even remotely care about the quality of your lodging. The notion that "we're out during the day and it's just a place to sleep" doesn't even apply. This hotel should not even have one star, let alone two. Rooms and common areas are dirty and falling apart, it smells bad, and it's just plain depressing.”

• The hotel smelled old, the room had mold and AC was noisy.

“Friday was my 10-year anniversary with my wife. I was planning a special night with out our kids. We arrived at the hotel, checked in which took a while as there was only person attending several guests. The other two employees were in the back on their dinner break. My wife and I finished the check in and went for dinner. We came back to the hotel and went up to our room. We opened the door and the smell of mold hit me right away. Followed by the loud noise of the AC. My wife looked at me and said, "You have to be kidding me."”

• Looked worn out.

“The pictures of the hotel were better than it actually looked. It was about what I expected for the price in South Beach. If I wanted better I would have had to pay a bunch more. If you're looking for just a place to sleep and not much else this hotel is fine. If you're looking for a fabulous facility with lots of amenities keep looking. Sleep here but do everything else somewhere else.”

• The location was pretty good.
• Horrible condition and disgusting.

“This hotel is probably ok for guys who are in south beach just to party. However, all the doors are dented, there were stains on the furniture and sheets, cigarette burns on the furniture, and we had guys in the next room that got loud between 2 and 3 in the morning. The place is falling apart and needs serious attention.”

• The new guy at check in was great, good room for a great price.
• There were ants coming out of our sink drain.

“Unbeatable for the price and location. Should have posted that one of the floors was under renovation, and not to get ice there because it could be hazardous. Staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt.”

• The custodial workers replied hi to me.
• Very rude front desk workers!

“Mandatory charge for room safe per day, not listed. Held up by security. Had to stand at door, while desk workers, accused me of already checking out, when I went outside in the morning to smoke! And never an apology and everyone in lobby heard me being accused of not having a room here! Fine, "it's for my own protection. But don't accuse me of not being a guest here. Never was insulted like this at any other Days inn in my life!”

• Comparatively inexpensive.
• Desperately needs to be updated.

“The location of the hotel was okay, a little off the strip but you cannot complain for the price. The smell was awful in our non smoking room and hallway, smelled like mold. The sheets and towels were clean, but overall the hotel really needs to be renovated. Don't bring someone here for a romantic vacation for sure.”

“The hotel is approximately 11 blocks from the main strip on South Beach. Its rooms are clean, although the door would not lock and it was very noisy. Even more annoying was the lack of parking spaces, even for pay.”
