• The view was fabulous.
• Parking of $28 a day, beggars across the street.

“We were very happy with our bid with Priceline when we received this hotel. Nice location especially if you are going to Miami to leave on the cruise ships. Public transportation is a great option to get around also. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was excellent and priced within a normal buffet in a hotel. Great free wireless internet access in the lobby if you don't want to spend the money for the wireless internet. The pricing for parking is high but if you don't mind a little hassle you can park in the Bay side Plaza Parking garage for $10 a day and take the free Metro mover provided. There is a Burger King and a Checkers across the street for a quick bite if needed.”

• Friendly staff and nice accommodations.
• The pipe lines burst and there was no hot water to take a shower the next morning.

AM to shower which was a huge inconvenience as my boyfriend and I (traveling from Atlanta) were on our way to a wedding. I would not have stayed in the hotel if I were aware of this problem ahead of time.”

• The views from the room were great.
• Parking was expensive $25 a day.

“The hotel was very classy and our room had two windows with a great view of Miami and the Bay. There is a bus depot right next to the hotel where you can catch a bus that which will take you anywhere in the Miami area.”

• Conveniently located to where we needed to be.
• An old cream cake left of nightstand when we got there and used bar of soap in shower.

“The overall hotel was gorgeous. I was disappointed for it being a HILTON that we had an old cream cake left on the nightstand when we got there, the next morning getting into the shower I found a used bar of soap. The breakfast in the dining room was cold. However all the check-in staff, valet staff and dining staff were very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable.”

• Staff friendly. Clean areas. Lots of public areas. Accessible smoking areas.
• Cold steak fries on room service order. Cuban sandwich could have been better.

“I chose this hotel because it was near to a party I was attending. All staff was accommodating and friendly. The hotel was, at this time, under construction. My room service order was taken close to closing time but the order taker was more than hospitable. The food itself was just ok. Fries are always difficult with room service orders, but these were particularly bad. I have had better Cuban sandwiches. The French onion soup was very good. I appreciated the availability of a coffee station in the lobby in the morning. This was a great alternative to room service/and or take away from the restaurant. If my travels brought me back to this immediate area I would definitely look to stay here again.”

• Check in was a breeze. The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect and the view spectacular.

“We traveled with a group of 15 of us. We stayed for one night pre-cruise. My family was so impressed with our accommodation they would go back and just stay here to relax. The view of our ship was great and exciting. The rooms were roomy and perfect. A perfect hotel for a quick stay or longer.”

• Over all it was a nice hotel.
• There was a lot of construction with a lot of noise.

“The hotel was nice and comfortable, except for the construction to the hotel was loud and there was no possible way to rest between the hours of 8-5 due to the jack hammering on the roof or higher floors which rattled the whole hotel and made a lot of noise.”

• Updated rooms, clean, super friendly staff!
• Location is in a little iffy area,
  seems safe but a lot of beggars/homeless.

“This hotel was gorgeous! The floor to ceiling windows were a great touch. We were going on a cruise so it was nice that there was a free shuttle from the airport and only $5each for the shuttle to the port ($25 taxi). The shuttles could have been timelier. On our trip back we called for the shuttle to pick us up at the port. We waited 45 minutes and the shuttle never showed we finally took a taxi. That was the only issue we had, everything else was over-the-top great!”
