  • Quiet, comfortable sleeping accommodations.
  • Responsiveness of management off the charts unacceptable. Airport shuttle service far less frequent than other area hotels.

“Hotel was clean, room quiet & comfortable, although bathroom was outdated. My rating is diminished by the poor airport shuttle service and the total disregard of my complaints by management. While I watched every other hotel shuttle go by 3 or more times, the Miami Mart shuttle showed after an hour & 2 phone calls to the hotel. When I called the hotel, the person @ the desk told me a shuttle was waiting for me, then told me they just left and she didn't know why. Night manager showed total disregard for my concerns and was clearly entertained by my ire. I encountered several guests who had a similar experience.”

  • The room was very large & hotel overall was beautiful.
  • It was a little far from airport, but hotel provided transportation service. That services needs a little better timing for flight arrivals nothing else.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Miami, FL on a trip its a nice quiet lace to stay. The hotel has 250 shops right next to there so shopping would be convenient to say the least.”

  • Very clean, excellent service-decorated beautifully.
  • Only one expensive restaurant available. Sandwich bar not open on Sundays.

“Everything except the restaurant was excellent. Only problem you needed to take a taxi to get anyplace. Nothing around you could walk to.”

  • The room was large and nice and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I can remember.
  • Availability of vending machines.

  • Poor maintenance; toilet ran all night. Sink stopper broke closed.

  • Clean room.
  • Poor customer service, bad food, nowhere to get a drink. Vending machines not stocked, restaurant hours not consistent.

“This hotel was a huge disappointment. I have traveled extensively and this hotel was the worst I have stayed at. But this hotel did not live up to my expectations. The star level was 3 and it should be 2 as this hotel is not upscale. The restaurant was not opened when you would expect. i.e. closed at dinner time. When they were open the food was terrible and no one seemed to care. We could not find drinks to purchase, as all of the vending machines were sold out or not working. When I asked at the front desk, they told me the bar was open. It wasn't and so we asked if room service could get us some cokes as we didn't have anything to drink. They told us they would take care of it. 2 hours later we called to find out why we still had no drinks, and we were told that they asked the manager and he said no. No, that was it. No explanation as to why we couldn't get 2 cokes. We ended up walking to a store down the street. Big mistake. Very bad neighborhood. I will never stay in this area again. Miami is a great place.”

  • Has a lot to offer on site.
  • We had a lot go wrong during the check in process.

“I think the person who helped us at the front desk was having a bad day. The room had not been cleaned yet and lastly the next room the keys did not work. I would stay here again.”

  • They didn't get in my way when I was finally able to leave.
  • There were major deficiencies in the fundamental maintenance of facilities, and management did not care.

“They didn't bother to change bed linens unless you demanded it. Virtually every ice machine was broken. 1/3 of the elevators were totally non-functional and the others didn't work properly. When confronted, manager claimed that all these major (and obviously long-term) deficiencies had mysteriously appeared the day before your arrival.”

  • It was a nice hotel with good beds.
  • No free parking although the lots were empty.

“I was impressed with the hotel accommodations with the exception of the parking. It is also a Convention Center but there was no convention at the time. I did not use it but they said they had 24 hr. shuttle to the airport which is important to flyers leaving early.”

  • Very nice looking hotel, and staff inside the hotel were very professional.
  • The elevators were not in service at 5 am when we needed to leave for the airport.

“The Hotel is very nice, much better than expected. The staff were generally pleasant and professional, with the exception of the parking attendant. When returning to the hotel after taking my wife to the airport he made me wait at least 5 minutes before letting me back into the parking area. He only let me back in after I started yelling at him.”

  • Cleanliness, comfort, location.
  • Elevators were very slow, 15-20 minutes wait to get an elevator.

“This is an excellent hotel, however, the concierge could not help me with laundry services, even though I spoke to someone in an adjacent room that seemed to have no problem getting service with the same.”
