• Location to family, value.
• Shuttle to airport did not start until 8.

• They were very accommodating with my physical disability. Even gave us a mini-refrigerator for our room.
• Late check in guests slamming their room door for over an hour.

“We were extremely surprised by the location of this hotel, but were also very extremely pleased with the location and the places we were going to have to travel to visit. The room was very clean including the carpet which in most places the carpet is filthy. I could walk barefoot here and still have clean feet. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating.”

• Excellent breakfast! Very nice room and accessible for my daughter who is partially handicapped.

“This is a very nice hotel. Easy to access elevator or steps to second floor where we were located. They served an exceptionally nice breakfast, serviced by a very helpful employee at all times. It was hot and delicious, different every day.”

• The location was good.
• The hot breakfast was cold, this extended the service line as you had to wait for everyone to microwave their breakfast.

• Noise level doors slamming all night.

“The hotel was great but there was a hold put on money that was removed from our account it showed up as a debt from the hotel the same day we left at the time we left. It took my bank and me all day Wednesday 07/30/08 to tack down the money. I did ask to talk with there accounting department but no reply or returned call. I then today on Thursday ask to talk with the accounting department and found out what they said was done about the money being return to my account. They said it was now in my bank but my bank said no deposit from the hotel had been made. May be by Wednesday or next day. As I said our stay was good and the staff was very nice. All but the noise all night.”

• The location to the airport is excellent for travelers, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The location to downtown Chicago and other shopping venues was not desirable, 30 minutes plus of travel time.

“It was perfect for the price with a friendly staff, and conveniently located near O'Hare airport. It is not for someone looking to enjoy the sites and shopping fare of downtown Chicago, but overall it was a good stay.”

• The view from the room full of trees and a golf course was beautiful.
• The indoor pool was a little small.

• Good location not far from shopping Wal-Mart.
• I thought we had a king size bed not two doubles.

“We were able to check in early even though check in time was 3pm. Close to shopping for last minute stuff or strip mall. Staff friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again if the opportunity knocks. They have pool and Jacuzzi, and weight room. Unfortunately we weren't able to use them. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Even though the airport is close by no effect of us sleeping.”

“Ok, not located near anything in town (no nearby restaurants). No fresh soaps or shampoos (had one shampoo bottle but was already opened). Room very nice and clean. Over-all good experience.”

• Clean and safe great internet.

“The hotel was clean, safe, with great internet. They locked us out of our room! It was fixed quickly but we had to produce the print out. Inconvenient and annoying to say the least.”

• Offered a good breakfast buffet.
• No restaurants within walking distance.

“Room was clean and comfortable. Hallway carpets needed cleaning. Although no restaurants were in the immediate vicinity of hotel, several were a short drive and the hotel provided menus for the half dozen or so restaurants that delivered. Juice and water were offered in vending machines, but juice selections were out on my floor.”

• Pool was very warm! That was nice. Temp control in the room was great!
• The spa was unusually cool for a spa.

“As an example, while traveling with my son to this hotel, he experienced an asthma attack, I needed to get to a hospital as soon as possible, at 10:30 pm, and the front desk clerk did not know where the nearest hospital was. All hotels should have a map of local emergency facilities for their customers. It would have saved us 35 minutes driving around trying to find out where it was.”

• Hotel staff unable to give directions to hotel from I-290.

“I had a very negative experience at this hotel. First, I had a great deal of difficulty finding the hotel. It took 50 minutes to find the hotel after I left I-290 even though the hotel was only 2 or so miles off I-290. When I called the hotel to ask for directions, the front desk clerk was unable to tell me. Seriously! Then in the morning I complained about the bill left under my door because it looked like I was being double billed by the hotel. The front desk clerk, a Hispanic woman, became obstinate and refused to serve me or satisfy my questions.”

• The free continental breakfast was great!
• Hard to find originally - got bad directions from map quest.

“After originally having major trouble finding the hotel due to bad map quest directions and bad hotel staff directions, we ended up loving the hotel itself. The free breakfast was great every morning and not just the basic fruit and toast! Hot dishes every morning as well! Rooms were clean and in good condition. The pool, although relatively small, was great and always empty while we were there during the week. Would recommend this hotel to others and wouldn't have any issues going back.”
