• Still has smoking rooms. Smells of smoke throughout.

“This is an older hotel in need of remodeling. Everything is worn out and rooms need some update. This is the only hotel I've stayed in the last two years that still has smoking rooms available. It made me realize how nice it is that most do not.”

• Elevator and other places stunk of cigarettes.

“If all you want is somewhere to sleep it was fine, or if you like camping or cigarettes. If you want a hotel in any sense of the word stay somewhere else.”

• Spacious room with nice couch and chair for lounging.
• Hallways were very smoky smelling, but did not extend to room.

“Reasonably modern hotel. Though the halls smelled strongly of smoke the non-smoking room did not. The room was spacious with a sofa and chair for sitting. Bedding and bathroom amenities were above average for a 2-star hotel. Very nice towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Comfortable and varied selection of pillows on the bed, even labeled firm, soft, etc. With free Wi-Fi, I was very satisfied.”

• The hotel seemed like it was trying to maintain costs by eliminating unneeded excess.
• The continental breakfast, described as "deluxe" was nothing more than some boxes of bakery.

• Hallway smelled horrible like smoke, staff at breakfast was very rude.

“Nice location, bed was comfortable, nice linens, clean room.1 woman at the counter was friendly, and the guy at the desk was not very nice. The staff at the breakfast was rude when I asked for orange juice they refused to get more; this was at 9:30. The breakfast was to go until 10:00. The hallway on our "non smoking" floor smelled horrible like smoke.”

“Adequate hotel. Met our needs for sleep only. Typically we would pick a hotel with a pool, but we knew we would not have enough time. I liked the location as far as close to the freeway, shopping and restaurants.”

• Clean & bed was very comfortable.
• It smelled Smokey even though it was non-smoking room.

“Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was very good. Room was kept very clean, but it smelled Smokey even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room. The hotel was in a convenient location to find a variety of good restaurants.”

• Excellent lobby appearance and friendly staff.
• I enjoyed it all and will be returning!

“The hotel in all was magnificent. I didn't expect a 2star hotel to look and feel so good! The continental breakfast in the morning was wonderful! I and my kids loved it. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to be returning in the near future. .”

• I enjoyed the warm feeling in the hotel and the friendliness of the staff
• There was nothing i didn't like

“The hotel was perfect,peaceful atmosphere, perfect location with restaurants and shopping mall in walking distance. if i stay in downers grove again i would love to have the same hotel. I plan to stay in the naperville area I hope I get the same type of hotel. Thank You”

• It is really a great hotel with a great rooms, the only problem is the location which is 45 minute from the downtown.
• The location.
