  • I slept great.
  • Wrong part of town.

“Overall, quite pleasant.”

  • The staff was friendly.
  • We requested a non-smoking room and the sheets and pillows smelled of smoke. The lobby and hallways smelled strongly of smoke.

“The hotel did not have an elevator which made it inconvenient to get to the second floor where our hotel room was located. It would be inconvenient for elderly people or families with children in a stroller. It was also difficult to carry luggage to the second floor up the staircases. There were cigarette burns in the bedding.”

  • Lone person at desk was friendly and helpful when I arrived.
  • I cannot recall seeing a more "sparse" breakfast.

“Lee's Inn is close to the Interstate. If you are arriving from Chicago you need to turn right. It looked like there were a number of rooms of various sizes for business meetings during the week. My room was spacious with two queen beds, but all kinds of touches like a pad with a few sheets of paper near the phone were missing. There was a spare roll of toilet paper but the roll on the spindle was exhausted with my first visit. The sheets were clean but WELL WORN. Everything about the on site breakfast (coffee, plate sizes, variety, serving area) would urge the guest to seek out a nearby Perkins or even MacDonald's.”
