• King sized room was pretty large and continental breakfast was pretty great.
• After we got home, we saw that we were charged an extra $95. When I called, they apologized and we are being refunded.

“Overall, this place was pretty decent. We have 2 small children and we were easily able to fit 2 play-yards for them to sleep and still have room for my bro-in-law to crash on the floor. Also, the breakfast was rather decent, with a fair amount of hot food. We have family in the area and will probably stay again when we go back to visit.”

• Close to older run down neighborhood.

• The free continental breakfast was of good quality.
• Only half of the water jets in the room spa tub worked.

“Overall, I liked this motel. And, I would recommend it, however the pool's hot tube needed repair d/t half the jets not working. The same was true for the in-room spa tub--only half the jets worked. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.”

• The breakfast was awesome, the room was very quite and peaceful.
• Laundry didn't work, but if you stayed there for a week or so you would want to do laundry.

• Last minute plan great price very clean micro & fridge great.
• Can't think of anything.

“This hotel was very easy to find & right off of the highway. It was close to our daughters apartment. We made last minute plans to go there for Easter. The hotel was attractive outside. There was a beautiful pool & exercise room. The room had a small fridge, and microwave. It also had a king bed, sleeper sofa (full size) 2 chairs, desk, big TV, and was very comfy.”

• Room seemed dirty and reeked of smoke.

“While conveniently located just off the I-265 loop, the Holiday Inn Express is barely adequate for a business traveler. I did use Internet and it worked, but the place seemed unkempt and there was a heavy cigarette smoke smell on my floor.”

• Clean rooms and no bedspreads.
• A few hairs on shower curtain in that werent ours.

“Other than the shower curtain everything looked fresh and clean. We like their idea of no bedspreads and clean bedding for everyone. The room had a microwave and fridge and although we didn't use them if needed that would have been helpful. The breakfast bar was included and offered warm foods as well which is a nice switch. It wasn't as south as I would have liked but it was a nice place for my family to stay and the price was great.”

“I stay in Indianapolis hotels about 3-4 times a month on either leisure or business travel. This was the best experience I have had at any 2 star hotels that I have stayed. Staff was very friendly, hotel facilities were wonderful especially the gym and hot tub, room was clean and spacious, cont. breakfast was good, and location was close to both down town Indy and Greenwood.”

• Nice staff; straight road to downtown.
• Some hotels are right downtown, which some may like more.

“The hotel was great. My husband and I meant to book the holiday inn express downtown, but accidentally booked the holiday inn south. Our plan was to be in downtown so that we did not have to drive or pay for parking to go to the concert at Conseco Field house or shopping. Holiday inn express was very nice and friendly, even though we did not book directly through them. They would have switched the hotel for us, but by the time we realized our mistake, the downtown hotel was completely booked.”

• Nice big bathrooms.
• Toilet ran, no maintenance man, in our PJ's had to move to another floor at midnight.

“The1st room we were put in was 4th floor and hardly any parking, the room lacked complete cleaning; only one wash rag--no floor mat and toilet running (which would not flush or quit running) we arrived at 11:30 pm after showering and realizing I could not fix the toilet I called the desk--she said to come and get another key and move because they do not have a night maintenance--I was wet and in my night clothes so I had to wake my husband to go to get a key. She moved us from 4th floor to 3rd floor. We had unpacked some and I was in my night clothes and we had to move floors and go in an elevator. We were too tired to do anything else but sleep. This room was hot and we did not sleep well because we could not get it cool enough and just too tired to go down again. We liked the bigness and were okay but we were not happy campers after all that!”

• They made a fresh pot of coffee for me at 10:00 at night.
• Carpet in hallway was worn and the whole place needed a "freshening up a bit."
