• I love the Doubletree welcome cookies. The beds in the room are the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel.
• For the location in the city, I think it should have had an indoor pool instead of an outdoor one.

“The service was great. The room was completely satisfying. This is my second stay at the hotel and it will not be the last.”

• Conveniently located to hospital and restaurant area.
• Very small bathroom.

“Room was nicely appointed. Bathroom was very small. Everything was very clean. Parking was 5 dollars a day and I was told it was free.”

• The 9 team members who stayed complained of the smell and cleanliness of the rooms

“I reserved a block of rooms 9 members of the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. This site team was sent to Birmingham to conduct a site visit at the Birmingham VAMC. Surveys from all members of the team on the hotel was very poor. The cleanliness and smell of the rooms was a major problem for the majority of the team members. They would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”
