• I like the country feeling in the hotel.
• None.

“The hotel is attractive to travelers and good location near downtown of Galena. Also near shopping.”

• The complimentary light breakfast.
• Sauna was broke.

• The staff - available but not intrusive.
• Small shower.

“This was a surprise get-away and 10th anniversary celebration for my wife and me. I booked a short stay at another motel as a kind of decoy before revealing our real destination. And even that I made sound like an after-thought; "Oh let's see if we can get a room at Stony Creek". ”

• Atmosphere, decorating, buying of anything in hotel, friendliness of staff.
• Non smoking everywhere except outside.

“We loved the outdoors men decorations and the fact we could purchase anything we saw in any rooms. We were updated to another room because we were not completely satisfied with what we booked on line and at no extra charge! Awesome! Also, we were shown other rooms that were special theme rooms. We will visit them again!”

• Wooden decorations, choice of high quality teabags, friendly staff.
• Their sign was not visible enough from the main road.

“I love the interior design mostly from wood. I think having several teabags other than the regular low end Lipton is a small sign that hotel management thinks customers have the right to choose.”

• Overnight Front Desk Attendant (Dan) was friendly, personable, and informative.
• 11am check-out & key card de-activated at precisely 11am (just about got locked out of room without retrieving 2 bags).

“Overall, hotel was clean and cozy. Staff was friendly and professional. It was quite nice to drive 4 hours and find out the hot tub could still be used even though posted hours stated it would be closed--made a great impression on my wife.”

• Inexpensive alternative to bed and breakfasts in Galena.
• Lobby was small, breakfast was all crabs.
