• They let us purchase new pillows that we really enjoyed, and for a cheap price!

“Clean, good. Would have been nice if they had movies in room for purchase. Good breakfast bar. Exercise room was ok - would have been nice if there were towels/sanitizer in there for the machines.”

• The pool & hot tub were fabulous, very large!

“The entry was spacious and inviting. The staff was very friendly including those in charge of breakfast. The hotel maybe looked like it might be expensive but it wasn't. It was a hotel that I could recommend to my friends.”

• The back hallways away from the main lobby.
• The employees are permitted to smoke in the hotel.

“We complained of the smoke in the lobby and one wing of the hotel that drifted towards and up the stairs. We were told they didn't smell the cigarette smoke. It came from an employee only room just off the main lobby and in the same area where we had breakfast. The smell was there at night as well. We were told they only had one smoking room for guest. But it wasn't the guest smoking it was the employees and the guest were told there was no smoke. Like we were idiots. The one room we were in had sheets that had pink stains on them. This was a dreadful experience. The owners must smoke, why else would they allow this behavior, when the door of the hotel says "welcome to our smoke free environment". What good will the law of no smoking if that starts in January 2008, if the employees are allowed to smoke in the hotel. I ended up with a very bad headache as I have an allergy to cigarette smoke. And to be told they didn't smell it was insulting. Also it states a heated swimming pool, it wasn't and the Jacuzzi by the pool wasn't even hot. I would rate this hotel as a 0 for service. P.s. Why doesnt it have dressers for clothing in the rooms?”

• It was a perfect getaway for two. The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful.
• Our room had a king size bed that was defective.

“We stayed in room 141 and the only thing that I was disappointed with was the bed. It was too soft and it sloped.”

• It was clean, the staff was friendly and the room was big.
• It was noisy in the evening, TV didn't work that well.

“The hotel was nice but expected a little bit more with the spa in the hotel. Was kind of expensive for what you get but that is galena in the fall, right? Everything is overpriced. It was clean and the room was big. That was a nice change of pace. The beds were pretty comfortable, too.”

• Parking - there was a wedding and they took all the spaces.

• Pleasant grounds, deck for spending time in "nature."
• Should not have been kept waiting to check out (by person on phone).

“Staff is prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Grounds appeared well kept, attracted many types of birds, and had many natural places to enjoy nature. Pool area clean, neat, and always stocked w/ towels. On Sun eve pool, water was a bit cold. Room was fine, appreciated non-down pillows (I'm allergic). Bathroom was in good working order. Housekeeping kept on top of things (three night stay). Wo
