• Beautiful, it was exciting and romantic to stay there.
• We were unaware of the cost of valet; cost should be made clear upfront.

“100% satisfied with the hotel staff, room, and other accommodations. Only complaint is about the surprise extra charges on the bill at checkout (valet, fee, etc.).”

• Large rooms.
• There was no coffee maker in rooms.

“The restaurant menu did not provide a varied choice. If one does not care for Asian food, it was difficult to dine there. There were no "normal American" breakfast choices. The sushi bar could use some updating.”

• Well appointed, nice room, clean, very comfortable, great bath products, accommodating.
• Martinis in the lounge were expensive and the waitress were not attentive.

“The Fairmont Chicago is a beautiful hotel located right off Michigan Avenue just south of the Miracle Mile, convenient to shopping and restaurants (even walking) and right above Millennium Park and Grant Park. Our visit was also blessed with great weather during the day. The staff remained unobtrusive until needed. Our room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable as was our bath.”

• All the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.
• Feel it was overpriced.

“The Fairmont's staff and its location to Lake Shore and surrounding attractions was a plus. Our room was clean, but the amenities did not seem to be as upscale. ”

• Laundry, breakfast, and pay a view on TV.
• The price for breakfast service is too high.

“Fairmont Chicago provided us a TTY and flash device for hearing impaired, when maid knocking our door but we can't hear it so the device will be flashing to let us know that somebody knocking our door. We feel safe.”
