“The hotel was very nice would recommend for adults, not so much with younger children due to the walk to main street after leaving parking lot, not well lit.”

“For me and what I was going to Gatlinburg for, this hotel was perfect. I took a 4-day weekend to enjoy the great outdoors so, I wasn't in the hotel for anything other than showering, sleeping and changing clothes. Don't read this wrong, I am picky about where I stay regardless of what my activities are. I had a king size bed clean & smelled clean, fire place didn't work, I tried it, TV with cable, Fridge, microwave, and good working AC. As mentioned by some others, there is no hair dryer, so bring your own. As for the location, it was great for me. I have been to Gatlinburg 3 or 4 times and have stayed in a upscale hotel/resort just around the corner from this one. I like to be in town, without being subjected to a lot of the traffic that the heart of town gets. This hotel is within walking distance to the heart of Gatlinburg traffic light 3 will only take you maybe 20 minutes to get to. Plus, you make 2 or 3 right turns from the hotel and your in the Great Smoky Mountain Park without traffic.”

“Hotel was nice and rooms were comfortable. Had trouble with the WiFi. Hotel is located a couple blocks from the main attractions and made it harder to walk places. I wish it had an iron and a hairdryer. Also thought it was odd the office closed so early and didn't reopen until 7:00 am.”

“The exterior is a little rough, but the refurbished and updated rooms made up for it. Parking is tight and inconvenient.”

“Overall, we were extremely happy with this hotel. It was perfect location just at the edge of Gatlinburg; great walking distance to everything. The room was clean and had a nice TV and little fridge. The balcony was our favorite part. Even though there was a hotel in back of ours you couldn't see it through the beautiful woods. The river flowed right behind that so all you could hear was the waterfall all night. It was very relaxing! Breakfast was hot waffles; pretty good except you have to make them yourself. We would definitely stay here again; next time with the kids.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to all area attractions. Only downfall is that the parking lot is too small to navigate and not large enough to accommodate all vehicles.”

“Toilets would not flush right. They never cleaned the room. Or gave us any clean towels after checking in. We left early because it was so bad.”
