• Freindly staff.
• Needs cleaning, shower tub did not drain, no soap in bathroom, lacked outer door security.

“This hotel needs a good scrubbing! My bathroom needed new caulking and the tub did not drain. The staff was friendly, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Nice big room. Right next to Red Lobster, Shopping and Kwik Trip
• The crabby lady at check out. The other people were nice.

“Nice low key hotel. Down to earth. If you request something special they will try to accomate. Close to shopping, food, gas station and hospital.”

• Personal were helpful and very nice.
• Needed upgrading, broken screen, curtians not attached to rods. No out side lights in parking, air condition control broken, holes in the sheets.

“Would not recommend it to any of our friends. great locations if brought up to higher standards it could be one of the great hotels in the area with the pool area. They have done a nice job with the pool area.”

• The owner and staff were friendly, and helful.
• Someone had entered my room while I was out, the room did not get cleaned.

“The staff and owner are very welcoming and kind. The rooms are in extreme need of updating.”

• The sunny pool area.
• No coffee cups in our room, but there was a coffee maker.

• Pool/game area was fun for a family.
• Put in a room down a smoky hallway, poolside rooms were available!

“This hotel was awful. It was a run down, outdated hotel. The waffles for breakfast were frozen egg waffles, not what hotels now serve. We were put in a long hall next to the smoking section and had to put towels under our door to stop the smoke from entering our room. Poolside rooms were vacant, but not given to us.”

“I enjoyed my stay very much. The friendly staff went out of their way to answer all my questions and the room was neat, clean and spacious, not to mention the great water flow options in the shower.”

• Lots of sunshine by pool.
• Very shabby, run down.

“Old shabby, run rundown hotel. Not too bad for the winter but lots of ants in hotel during warm months. Employees are much nicer than at your average hotel. Hotel is OK as long as you get a great rate on Priceline.”

• Easy to park, waited on right away.
• I didn't have regular coffee in my room or any coffee cups. Outside door was never locked. (got in about midnight). Didn't have to use my key.

“Surprised had an exercise room and nice pool. I had a problem with the stairs coming down from the continental breakfast. I missed all of the steps and fell. I think you need a red strip or something on each edge of the step. No one offered to help me get up either. I was asked if I was all right. I was lucky I only buried my knees and my glasses didn't break when I slid head first into the divider.”

• Nick, the front desk clerk was very helpful.
• The rooms were dirty and under construction.

“I wouldn't stay at that hotel again. The hotel was under construction, so no pool or hot tub available. There was a spider web with bugs in it near the bathtub. The desk chair was broken. One of the rooms had a hole in the wall clear through to the bathroom. The only good thing was the front desk clerk, He was very friendly and gave us a discount for the problems. The continental breakfast was very poor.”

• Close to UW eau Claire and great price point.-pool area very nice.
• Clean but oldies-fake plants and flowers should go

“This hotel was directly across from UW eau Claire which made it very convenient for us as we are parents of a college student. The pool area is very nice and everything was very clean. The price was excellent and included free breakfast. Both exterior and interior seem somewhat outdated. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.”

• The pool and atrium were nice.
• Hotel was a dump. Rooms outdated. Dining area unclean.

“I would not go here again. All of the rooms need to be renovated. No screens in the windows which was a safety hazard with small children. Saw mouse droppings in a drawer in the continental breakfast area. Restaurant adjoined to hotel was out of business. Bed was hard as a rock and I did not get a good night's sleep. Staff was friendly. Pool area and atrium has great potential.”
