“Very nice - good location but with the remodeling ongoing and the pool not open, it was disappointing for a weekend stay.”

“There is major construction going on and a Motel 8 on the edge of town would likely have nicer facilities at the moment.”

“You might consider staying at this hotel in a few years but for right now avoid it. The hotel itself is all torn up on the inside due to extensive remodeling, there is no restaurant or bar to speak of since it's all under construction, the pool is closed, the streets around the hotel and the driveway to the hotel are torn up, there are no working indicator lights on two of the elevators and the hotel staff is very unaccommodating and rude. I wouldn't pay a penny more. I won't be back.”

“The hotel was so-so, with so much construction going on it's hard to say what it might turn out to be. The small make shift front desk left a lot to be desired and the fact that people had to eat buffet type meals in the lobby area was not very appealing. Over the entire hotel held its purpose for us, but wasn't something I would recommend to anyone. Had to pay for parking and then pay the homeless people in the parking garage just to leave us alone.”

“The hotel is under construction and poorly "upgraded". There are trains that run all night long and it is very loud to try to sleep through. It is very difficult to get in and out of due to construction in the vicinity as well. I checked out of the hotel at 2:00 AM because it was so miserable.”

“Renovation was a little off-putting but the staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were immaculate. I had a terrific view of the courtyard, found free parking on the street, enjoyed the hotel's Starbucks and loved the downtown location, which was in walking distance to Cain's Ballroom and numerous mid-scale and upscale bars and eateries. I will stay here again.”

“Downtown location gives limited access to dining, no movie theatres. Beautiful night views of Downtown make up for the location. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.”

“There was a large convention there and they seemed a bit overwhelmed with taking care of that group. We may have chosen somewhere else to stay. The rooms however had already been remodeled and they were quite comfortable. The beds were plush and the bathroom luxurious.”

“A hotel of this stature should offer free parking in Tulsa. $5.50 is not outrageous, but I felt put out. Downtown area is going through major street construction. This report is late March 08. Getting into the hotel was an adventure in itself. Comfortable beds, nice room. But would not rate 3 star right now with all the challenges getting in.”

“I felt lost in the hotel due to the construction. Only 1 of the elevators had a floor indicator in the elevator. So when you reached a floor you weren't sure what floor you were on. I got off of the wrong one since there were no indicators in the elevator and no markings at the floor itself. The room was excellent, very clean, and relaxing. After navigating the construction of all the streets around the Downtown Tulsa area the room was a welcome retreat.”

“However, the major construction going on really made things inconvenient. I was on the 15th floor and there was only one working elevator out of four. That made for long trips up and down to my car.”

“The hotel was under complete renovation. The lobby and surrounding areas were all torn up. Some areas on the second floor didn't even have electricity. A makeshift lounge, coffee shop and gift shop were a joke. What gift shop is closed from 1pm to 5 pm? That's not three stars. No pool or workout area, no business center. This was not a good experience.”

“The whole reason I chose the hotel was because of the indoor pool. When we arrived we found out that the pool was closed because the entire hotel was being remodeled.”

“This hotel will be really nice when they are finished with construction. Right now it is really torn up. The rooms were very nice and updated. We were unable to use the pool, gift shop, etc. All were closed for construction. Also, we had to pay for parking. I think that should be included in your hotel stay.”

“Downtown around the area, as well as the hotel is under construction so it is all a mess. When it is all finished, it might be great.”

“The manager did not want to reverse their parking charge when her employee had told me that the parking was free on weekends. The pool was closed, had been for months. There was construction in the lobby area, but no where near the pool. Do not understand why the pool was closed. But the room was beautiful, the hotel was clean, the free internet was great, the concierges were friendly, and even though the pool was closed my daughter enjoyed the escalator just as much.”
