Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Very nicely remodeled.
  • Construction process was ongoing/ no swimming pool open.

“Very nice - good location but with the remodeling ongoing and the pool not open, it was disappointing for a weekend stay.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[4] • Location:[7]

  • Stay away. Complete construction zone.
  • All the public spaces are torn up; drilling starts at 8 AM.

“There is major construction going on and a Motel 8 on the edge of town would likely have nicer facilities at the moment.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[3] • Location:[3]

  • Proximity to where I was going.
  • Pretty much everything about the hotel was very disappointing.

“You might consider staying at this hotel in a few years but for right now avoid it. The hotel itself is all torn up on the inside due to extensive remodeling, there is no restaurant or bar to speak of since it's all under construction, the pool is closed, the streets around the hotel and the driveway to the hotel are torn up, there are no working indicator lights on two of the elevators and the hotel staff is very unaccommodating and rude. I wouldn't pay a penny more. I won't be back.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[5] • Location:[3]

  • The color scheme in the room was nice.
  • Construction, nonworking elevators, location, homeless people begging for money in the parking garage, small make shift upstairs front desk.

“The hotel was so-so, with so much construction going on it's hard to say what it might turn out to be. The small make shift front desk left a lot to be desired and the fact that people had to eat buffet type meals in the lobby area was not very appealing. Over the entire hotel held its purpose for us, but wasn't something I would recommend to anyone. Had to pay for parking and then pay the homeless people in the parking garage just to leave us alone.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[4] • Location:[1]

  • The train that runs next to it.

“The hotel is under construction and poorly "upgraded". There are trains that run all night long and it is very loud to try to sleep through. It is very difficult to get in and out of due to construction in the vicinity as well. I checked out of the hotel at 2:00 AM because it was so miserable.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[9]

  • Great location and elegant, comfortable rooms.
  • Pool was not open due to renovations, adjacent streets were torn up and the breakfast buffet opened late.

“Renovation was a little off-putting but the staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were immaculate. I had a terrific view of the courtyard, found free parking on the street, enjoyed the hotel's Starbucks and loved the downtown location, which was in walking distance to Cain's Ballroom and numerous mid-scale and upscale bars and eateries. I will stay here again.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Rooms recently remodeled.
  • Public areas still under construction.

“Convenient downtown location. Breakfast Buffet was still available at 11:00 a.m.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Comfortable beds, large rooms, great TV.
  • Under construction, Starbuck's closed on Sunday, bad coffee at the breakfast buffet.

“Downtown location gives limited access to dining, no movie theatres. Beautiful night views of Downtown make up for the location. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • The rooms were very nice and comfortable.
  • The renovations were very noisy.

“The hotel was definitely worth staying at. Convenient to where we needed to be also.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • The comfort of the room.
  • The service level and the mess in the lobby.

“There was a large convention there and they seemed a bit overwhelmed with taking care of that group. We may have chosen somewhere else to stay. The rooms however had already been remodeled and they were quite comfortable. The beds were plush and the bathroom luxurious.”

“The Crowne Plaza Tulsa is a wonderful hotel to stay in. We look forward to the construction being completed.”

  • Downtown view of the city. Excellent rooms.
  • The remodel going on.

“Hotel was going through some major renovation but the services were excellent and the staff was very friendly.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • Friendly staff.
  • Parking!

“A hotel of this stature should offer free parking in Tulsa. $5.50 is not outrageous, but I felt put out. Downtown area is going through major street construction. This report is late March 08. Getting into the hotel was an adventure in itself. Comfortable beds, nice room. But would not rate 3 star right now with all the challenges getting in.”

Apr 1, 2008 by Vickie from Liberal, KS

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[4] • Location:[2]

  • The room was wonderful and very relaxing.
  • Lack of direction in the construction of the hotel.

“I felt lost in the hotel due to the construction. Only 1 of the elevators had a floor indicator in the elevator. So when you reached a floor you weren't sure what floor you were on. I got off of the wrong one since there were no indicators in the elevator and no markings at the floor itself. The room was excellent, very clean, and relaxing. After navigating the construction of all the streets around the Downtown Tulsa area the room was a welcome retreat.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Room was very nice.
  • Major hotel construction was going on.

“However, the major construction going on really made things inconvenient. I was on the 15th floor and there was only one working elevator out of four. That made for long trips up and down to my car.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • Location.
  • Renovation.

“The hotel was under complete renovation. The lobby and surrounding areas were all torn up. Some areas on the second floor didn't even have electricity. A makeshift lounge, coffee shop and gift shop were a joke. What gift shop is closed from 1pm to 5 pm? That's not three stars. No pool or workout area, no business center. This was not a good experience.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • Hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean.
  • The hotel was being totally remodeled and the pool was not open. Reason for stay was the indoor pool.

“The whole reason I chose the hotel was because of the indoor pool. When we arrived we found out that the pool was closed because the entire hotel was being remodeled.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[5]

  • Clean, updated rooms.
  • Hotel under construction--everything closed or torn up.

“This hotel will be really nice when they are finished with construction. Right now it is really torn up. The rooms were very nice and updated. We were unable to use the pool, gift shop, etc. All were closed for construction. Also, we had to pay for parking. I think that should be included in your hotel stay.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • The bed was comfortable.
  • The hotel was full of noise and construction dust.

“Downtown around the area, as well as the hotel is under construction so it is all a mess. When it is all finished, it might be great.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[6] • Location:[6]

  • The rooms were beautiful the hotel clean.
  • The manager did not want to rectify a situation. Pool was closed when it didn't have to be.

“The manager did not want to reverse their parking charge when her employee had told me that the parking was free on weekends. The pool was closed, had been for months. There was construction in the lobby area, but no where near the pool. Do not understand why the pool was closed. But the room was beautiful, the hotel was clean, the free internet was great, the concierges were friendly, and even though the pool was closed my daughter enjoyed the escalator just as much.”
