“For the price we paid, this hotel met and surpassed our expectations. It was very neat and clean, and the rooms were updated and attractive.”

“It was clean and under renovation. They gave us a room that needed renovation. The recently renovated rooms were nice and up to our standards. Public areas were up to our standards. Staff was pleasant. This rated at 4th worst ever. We usually stay at nice hotels.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations from what I read reviews about the area hotels. Hotel was clean and relaxing. Great continental breakfast with hot waffles!”

“The room was larger than expected. The hotel was hard to get to from the Freeway and staff hard to understand.”

“The hotel was in a great location with, multiple restaurants in the area that would accommodate any appetite and it was close to the highway.”

“It is likely best for the construction workers who occupied most of the rooms, apparently, and who filled the breakfast area each morning in clothes they wore for the outside work for the week. Business travelers and families would not find it a commodious accommodation.”

“It was a comfortable convenient place that met our needs at an affordable rate. The people tried to be accommodating, but I feel they didn't understand us well and we had difficulty understanding them.”

“The $10 upgrade from a very respectable base price was well worth the money spent. The room came with a kitchen area with fridge and microwave. The bed was so comfortable and there was no need to bring a real pillow along on the trip. The ones provided were big and supportive. The only negative was that we were on the ground floor and the person above us was a monster, a demon, or a maniac. (Maybe all 3). 'It' never slept and at times we thought the ceiling would cave in, but this is not the hotels fault. We would gladly stay here again.”

“This is a hotel which I would stay in again if I go back to that area of the country. It met and went beyond what I had expected for that type of hotel.”

“Microline would not honor this reservation. My mother passed away and I want not able to go. My daughter took my husband (he was to be at the hospital the next day at 7AM) to Garland and when they started to check in the desk clerk refused to honor the reservation. She would not even honor the reservation after he called me and I explained what had happened. He had to make a whole new reservation and I better not be charged with your charge and their charge also.”

“Microtel has become my favorite chain to stay at for business trips. The rooms are always affordable and while the rooms are small, the space is always very useful and the amenities are always consistent between hotels in the chain.”

“This is the perfect stay for the business traveler. The room was small but amenities included free wireless Internet access, unlimited phone calls, and a free continental breakfast that included waffles. Do pay close attention to directions on how to get there or you'll miss it.”

“Best accessed from the service road, hard to find if you come in off the exit to the west. Construction crews next door begin working promptly at 7 am; don't expect to sleep in past 7. Room was clean and comfortable, walls are paper thin though, so don't have any private conversations in the room; phone calls can be heard clear as day. Front desk staff is excellent.”

“Excellent value for the money. Fairly small, European size room was clean and comfortable. Limited continental breakfast. The staff was responsive when told that some of the breakfast items needed replenishing. I recommend this hotel for a short layover.”

“It was a pretty nice hotel. It has a bowling alley right behind it. But it was not quite wat I expected due to the internet information being inaccurate. My room did not have a fridge and the picture of the bathroom was completely different. If that was an upgrade, they need to be clearer.”
