• The hotel was quiet and private.
• It was certainly not as posh as a 4 star hotel usually is.

“We were very pleased with the accommodations at Glenmoore. The room was large and very clean. The staff was courteous, and the location was lovely. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in town.”

• The location is great, very private, and very secure.
• The in-room amenities leave something to be desired. old TV, limited channels, etc.

• The setting was magnificent and spa amenities a plus.
• I thought it had an indoor pool. Jacuzzi not coed.

“Room was very comfortable, spacious, quiet and clean. The restaurants were excellent and service was friendly and prompt. Gorgeous surroundings were a wonderful surprise. I will definitely return.”

• Beautiful settings - great for a golf trip.
• Pool was unavailable due to country club event.

• Used to be a seminary and still has that old stone classy atmosphere.
• Coming from a smoke-free state, the smoke in the bar was bothersome (however, it IS a cigar bar).

“We were impressed with the setting of this hotel. It has beautiful buildings and grounds. It also has a couple great restaurants and a cozy bar. Walking the grounds, the hotel struck us as a great place for an event (the old chapel has been converted to a reception hall). We did have a couple problems with our room, but when these problems were brought to the attention of the management they were handled very graciously.”

• The rooms were large, & were clean.
• Very poor dark lighting, fixtures old, worn or burned chair material, & worn linen. Unwarm or bright rooms.

“This place was not my idea of a Country club Hotel at all. It is not handicapped accessible at all. I had to go up and down steps which is my handicap to get to a elevator. I was asked to go out in the dark to bring my things in at the side of the Hotel. No valet help at all, and when I arrived people standing outside smoking. I was sent to a room when I finally got inside the hotel seemingly miles around several hallways, and I began to have leg pain from the walking. I cannot walk long distances because it causes me problems and is also part of my handicap condition. I walk with a cane which was readily seen. I moved out the next day, and when I did I had to contact them again to have a block moved off my credit card and when I did, I could not use my credit card again. I was told that someone had canceled my card and said it was lost or stolen, causing me great despair at the next hotel because my card was canceled and I could not use it to get my hotel. Thank God I had a little monies left on a spare card to stay at another hotel. I was told I would be getting a new card sent to me by the credit card company due to this incident. I had a very bad stay just overnight at this hotel, and I will not stay there again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I asked for the Manager, and I made him aware of all I had encountered and all he said, was I'm sorry and said no more to settle the problem and/or hurt & pain I had encountered. Very Unfriendly and uncaring staff. I had an awful situation here.”

• Beautiful setting with access to many activities.
• Loud talking in the hall and pool use after midnight.

“The Glen moor Country Club is a wonderful retreat. The rooms are clean and the staff is very accommodating. The grounds and golf course are beautiful.”
