• Nice, spacious room with comfortable beds.

“More than I expected for style, comfort, and access. Wireless network was reliable and easy to connected. I'll look to stay at these hotels during my travels.”

• Willing to start airport shuttle at 5:00 am.
• Our room did not have a closet.

• Nothing.

“Easy to find, yet out of the way. Being slightly odd and in our early sixties, we're fussy and particular about hotels. We felt secure and comfortable here. This will be a regular stop for us on the way to see grand children. Oh, the price with a comp breakfast was very reasonable.”

• Nice pool and clean.
• No shuttle to Downtown.

“The hotel was nice, but the third floor ice machine did not work and the door from the stairwell to the third floor would not open. The service was good, and the staff did their job keeping things clean and neat.”

• The TV game for my grand daughter.
• Wasn't as plush as usual for a 4 star.

“I didn't like walking in and seeing the breakfast area before I even noticed the lobby. A wall, plants or something should have concealed the breakfast areas, in my opinion. We didn't eat there we ate a Shoney's. It wasn't nice for the money. It was just ok!”

• Free internet.
• Very dirty rooms.

“We had to move rooms three times for smoking musty odors. Each time we were told "there are not any more rooms" until I pressed. The final room still smelled poorly and had hair in the shower. They came once for housekeeping at 10AM I told them to return later they never did. I have stayed in nice win gates and this one was very poor.”

• We were bummed that the outside pool was closed. We weren't aware of that.

• It was in a good location off of the main road, yet near the highway.
• Our room smelled like it was formerly a smoking room.

“This was a nice hotel for the price. It was clean and had nice features such as the pool, hot tub and breakfast. The room was larger than usual. It had free internet service, a microwave and refrigerator. On the negative side, the television selection was poor. The room smelled like a former smoking room.”

• Staff was nice and prompts in helping correct issues!
• Thin walls! Heard whole phone conversations! Better after room change!

“Nice hotel for price and last minute near new year time! Staff was prompt in helping me change room after issues with the first room, had inconsiderate neighbor. Good stay overall, would recommend!”

• Front desk clerks didn't like to be bothered and didn't know the weather forecast.

• The hotel staff was very pleasant and was very considerate of the guests.
• I did not like the fact that during the continental breakfast, there was nits around.

“This hotel staff greeted us with a smile. The reservation came through with a king and a pull out couch, we recommended a two double bed room. The clerk was able to change the reservation and made us very comfortable. Our check-out showed extra charges we did not recognize, but they were able to clear this up as well.”

• No airport shuttle to meet us on our return.

“Although we cleared leaving our car and using the airport shuttle with the desk personnel before we left, they refused to pick us up on our return leaving us stranded. We will not stay here again.”

• Initially difficult to find, located down a side street.

“The hotel staff was very nice. Check in and check out was very efficient. The rooms were spacious and clean and it offered free internet. Much better room than a 4 star hotel. I will definitely stay at a Wingate again.”
