• The staff was very friendly and very accommodating!
• Location to Downtown but the shuttle was available.

“The staff, at this hotel, was VERY friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were sympathetic and accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable.”

• The view of the stadium.
• 19 to 22 dollars to park.

“Really nice place, had TV's, comfy beds, really nice pool with a view off the third floor. Great location for food and it's just $8.00 cab to or from Broadway and 2nd street. The park across the street is very nice to.”

• The "revive" beds and flat-screen TVs are nice.
• I called 2 times to request a king room and at check in did not get it.

• The friendliness of the employees.
• No concierge. No safe in room.

• It was beautiful!
• The valet parking.

“This hotel was beautiful, clean, and close to my business location. They staff was very friendly and attentive. I would stay there again for business or for leisure.”

• Nice bed, TV, bathroom.
• Expensive to park.

“It's located right next to Vanderbilt's football stadium. Had that been the focus of our trip it would have been perfect. Very comfortable bed, nice LG flat screen TV, spacious bathroom. Can't complain.”

• The bed was extremely comfortable. I had 2 great nights of sleep.

• Location, clean rooms, super friendly staff, comfy bed.
• Parking is an extra $20 per night, no refrigerators.

“This is a clean well located hotel. The staff is extra friendly and ready to help. The beds are comfy. Drawbacks are paying an extra $20 per night to park and no refrigerators for leftovers from dinners out. We would have loved our leftover PF Changes for a midnight snack!”

• The bedding.
• I did not like having to pay $19 to park overnight or valet for $22; the other hotels we stayed at did not do this.

“The hotel was nice, but the only thing that I saw that would make it such a high star quality was the higher costs of vending and drinks and of course paying to park. (I mean $4 for a bottle of water and $ 2.75 for a 20 oz. Coke .Get real).”

• Good location on edge of Vanderbilt campus and close to Downtown.
• Thin walls allowed us to hear conversations in adjoining rooms.

“Nice hotel with a convenient location close to Downtown Nashville. Be prepared to spend an extra $20 per day on parking not included in the price of the hotel stay.”

• Location only.
• Mgmt. unresponsive after I complained about vomit after two days of their failure to clean, deodorize carpet, elevator area. Ugh!

“This is an otherwise fine hotel. Location is good. It's proximity to a college campus, however makes it a party destination for students, it seems. I can understand that a hotel can't be held responsible for someone becoming sick in an elevator and common area, but I do have some expectation that it be cleaned certainly within a 24 hour period. Two days following, the carpet had not been shampooed and the odor was so horrible that when I came back in one evening after dinner, it made me ill, when I stepped off the elevator onto the seventh floor. I reported it twice to two different hotel desk employees, and both times, was told that it would be cleaned up. Four days later, when I left, it still reeked. Never again with this Marriott. Nashville, however, is one fine destination!”

• The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.
• The housekeeping didn't respect the "Do not disturb" sign.

“It was a great hotel at a great location for a great price! The free shuttle Downtown was a big plus! The adjacent dining and nightlife was very convenient. And the Parthenon across the street was a relaxing break from the Downtown bustle.”

• Room was attractive.
• Check-in was horrible.

“They did not have our rooms ready when we went to check-in and it was past the time you could check-in. The front desk was very impolite and made us feel as if we were an imposition to them. They did not offer an apology or any type of compensation for our troubles. We had to wait in the lobby for over 45 minutes.”

• Walking distance to nice breakfast places and some good restaurants.
• No general use Jacuzzi in a 4 star hotel!

“It was clean and comfortable. There is no Jacuzzi which I thought all 4 star places would have. Walking distance to great breakfast places and some good restaurants. Safe area. Parking was approx $20 a day.”
