• The location was centrally located, enabling us to reach Nashville attractions easily.
• The pool was closed Friday night and there was not a breakfast included in the room price.

“The room was attractive and clean, but the staff was outstanding! They were very friendly and helpful when choosing restaurants and other Nashville attractions.”

• Front desk service.

“Front desk personnel went out of their way to extend hospitality. We used the washing machine and discovered that the dryer was broken.”

• The hotel was close to every thing yet out of the main congested areas . We really liked the balcony. Very clean and quiet. It was all we needed.
• No one was at the front desk when I went to check out, but in a few they showed up.

• The location was convienent and central near other restaurants.
• Not very up to date with faulty bathroom plumbing.

“This hotel did not have a restaurant.
The updates were poorly done. No continental breakfast, weak coffee and fruit (apples, bananas and oranges). Not what I expected.”

• Pool and hot tub.
• The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. Our backs hurt the next day!

“The beds are uncomfortable. Feel good when you lay down. But in the morning, your back hurts all day. 2 adults and 2 kids, 2 different beds. Everybody hurts.”

• King size bed.
• Shuttle service only went to convention center and not Opry.

“I wasnt too happy with hotel they charge you for a cold food and you didnt even get a free meal. Plus they parked their shuttle under the canopy so guest had to get wet because of no room under there because some one was too lazy to walk 20 steps. I feel the advertising was wrong; I thought maybe when it said Marriott Opry, it would have been a little better hotel plus closer to the Opry. I was too happy with that hotel.”

• Very comfortable bed.

“This is a great place to stay if you have a meeting or convention at the Opryland Convention Center. The Courtyard even provides transportation to and from the Convention Center for a one time $10 transportation fee. Tho hotel staff was friendly, efficient, and in our case went the extra mile on more than one occasion during our 5-day stay.”

• The linen was excellent, very soft and liked to short runner instead of bedspread, felt cleaner.
• No restaurant, just a breakfast brunch, that was just OK.

“Great location for visitors to Nashville. Very accommodating staff, very helpful. Good pool for kids.”

• The location could not of been any better.
• Sight see, see the grand old OPRY and Gaylord Hotel.

• Good location, staff was friendly but untruthful.
• We did not get a non smoking room, the staff lied and said it was non smoking.

“The staff assured us that the room was non smoking, though it smelled otherwise. After several days, with allergies acting up, we changed rooms. The 2nd room was clearly marked non smoking, the 1st room was not marked. When we asked, we were assured 3 times that the 1st room was non smoking. Our conclusion is that they were lying to us.”

• I liked the quiet location-away from the busy traffic. Although it wasn't convenient, it met my needs for the two nights.
• I did not like the lack of coffee shops or foor through the day,

“This hotel was very difficult to find. There were very few markers directing us to the hotel. It was dark and hard to see. We stopped at another hotel to get directions.”

• The staff was extremely helpful and kind.
• The room had a bad smell. Possibly a smoke smell.

“The Courtyard by Marriott Opryland was a fairly clean, conveniently located hotel. The staff for me gets an A++++ as far as hospitality. Our room had an odor to it similar to that of old smoke but otherwise our stay was pleasant.”

• Very clean and the rooms were large and spacious.
• Not a very good free continental breakfast,

“The hotel was located in a good location for us. It was clean and staff friendly. We enjoyed our stay there and was real happy with everything except the free breakfast.”

• After calling several times, we finally were able to find the hotel. We received very poor directions when we called the hotel.
