  • Room was quite and near Vanderbilt Hospital.
  • Charging $16.00 to valet park plus $1.48 tax, I thought services were not taxable.

  • Comfortable bedding.
  • Grubby carpeting with lump under the floor, beaten up elevator to parking garage.

“The attraction of this hotel is the location-2 blocks from Vanderbilt, which outweighed a lot of the other issues with the facility's somewhat shabby appearance, especially carpeting in the room.”

  • Not so huge that it took a long time to get to car or room. Loved the happy hour on Wed.
  • It was a little dated and worn.

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is a little dated, but very cozy and clean room. Nice amenities: computers and Internet access in the lobby, pool, secure parking, restaurant, and bar.”

  • Exorbitant fee for parking car.

“Very crowded, cramped entrance area and unloading area. Parking was to expensive. I have a low ground clearance spsrts car and no one bothered to tell me that because of the shape of the ramp, it would scrape bottom for about ten feet. I would have been contacting a lawyer had any serious damage been done.”

  • Employees were extremely helpful and
    we loved the free shuttle service.

“The employees were really made this hotel a good choice. My family enjoyed the complimentary shuttle, bottles of water and cookies (which were great!). My niece loved the pool and jacuzzi. It was a good hotel for all ages.”

“Paying for hotel parking is a rip off. I can understand if your using valet. The room seemed old and dirty. The snacks in the market place was overpriced.”

  • I am a smoker and did not know it was smoke-free until after I had made the reservation.

  • Location. Yes, the location and shuttle are ideal.
  • When I check in I was told my breakfast was complimentary. Yet, at breakfast I was billed.

“I was disappointed this time for the following reasons: I missed the shuttle by a couple of minutes and the front desk employees seemed almost joyful and mocking when they told me I would have to wait 30 minutes for it to return. I was treated like a second-class citizen by all the staff. When I check in I was told my breakfast was complimentary. Yet, at breakfast I was billed. When I questioned the front desk, they reluctantly took the breakfast off of my bill (after putting me on hold for 9 minutes' I clocked it), when I checked out, the front desk attendant almost slammed the bill down with a smirk and an uncomfortable, 'Thank you'. After I reviewed the bill and my bank statement, I realized I must dispute other charges because the bill is incorrect. There was one wonderful front desk attendant. He was a very nice African-American man. Don't stay here!”

  • I loved the friendly staff and I loved the shuttle service
  • You had to pay to park, and breakfast was not free!

“This hotel was very nice and accommodating. I loved the room and the size of the bed. The shuttle service was top-notch, but I did not like two things. Parking was costly, and the breakfast was not free! I was very surprised with that.”

  • The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious!
  • That you had to pay for parking.

“The hotel was clean, in a great location and had a free shuttle service within five miles, which was great for going downtown. The $15 (plus tax) charge for parking per night was VERY steep, and not appreciated, as most of the time when I stay in a 2.5 star moderate plus (which are my favorite of all of the hotel classes because they are geared toward the business traveler) I do not have to deal with a parking garage or valet parking, but can park conveniently to my room.”

  • The free shuttle was very convenient.
  • Had no sleep. Could hear everything going on in the hotel. Toilets, showers, talking, ice machine, etc.

  • It was nice and clean staff was courteous.
  • The concierge told us music row was 2 blocks down and we walked for 17 blocks at night back and forth.
