  • The hotel was very clean.
  • We got stuck in the elevator for over 15 minutes! Valet service damaged our car.

“Very disappointed. Hotel staff was rude. The elevator broke and we were stuck inside for over 15 minutes, and then not even offered an apology afterwards. I will not stay at this hotel again!!”

  • Location, city centre down-town. Relatively small rooms / bathrooms - but well appointed.
  • It was undergoing significant re-modeling in public areas at the time.

“Good quality hotel - as expected for Downtown location & price level. Rooms/ bath-rooms smaller than average, but adequate and good quality. (At the time of our stay there was remodeling going on in the public areas so dusty, particularly in basement parking lot.)”

  • Rooms were nice and in a good location for going to LP Field or Downtown.
  • The parking was awful, had to wait for over an hour to get my car to leave very displeased.

“Overall hotel was nice, the only real problem I had was the parking situation. No self park and the attendants were hideously slow about parking and retrieving cars, had to wait for over 35 mins to get parked and over an hour to retrieve my vehicle.”

  • Overall it was a good.
  • Housekeeping needs to pay attention to the area around the toilet and under the bed. Both had a former guest pills around them.

“Overall a good experience. We usually stay in a cabin or condo when we visit Estes Park, this is our first hotel experience. It saved us a lot of money as opposed to the cabin and condo rate. We decided to give this a try as we don't use the kitchen much anyway. A microwave and mini fridge would have been nice.”

  • It was not in the most premier location to all downtown activity.

“For a one night stay this hotel was very nice and did have a very helpful staff with all aspects of the trip. The staff did strive to answer every question and assist in every manner of the trip. I would have liked to have been a little closer to all of the downtown activity, but there was a shuttle service available through the hotel. Overall, I expected a little more out of the rooms, but they were clean and tidy and included most features you would expect. The hotel also had the added bonus of a star bucks in the lobby and a bar for a great comfy spot. Overall this was a very nice hotel.”

  • The valet parking was very convenient.
  • The room had a few marks on the wall that looked bad.

“The doubletree Nashville is in the middle of downtown Nashville, and is very convenient to a great number of attractions. The hotel restaurant and lounge are very nice, though expensive, so beware. The valet parking service was a fantastic feature (twenty dollars a day, with in and out privileges). The room we had was spacious and very nice and clean. I found a few marks on the walls in various places, but am barely noticeable and did not affect our experienced. The service of the hotel was great and responsive to all our needs. A great overall experience!”

  • Room maintenance was excellent.
  • Seems to be a haven for drunk college kids.

“Never ever stay here unless you are a drunk college kid. They let them have the run of the party because they were there was a convention and they were part of it. I never got to sleep before 4:30 and even heard one case of "date rape" in the making. Spare yourself because the front desk does not exist after 10pm and security does not even bother to check into complaints. Never ever stay here.”

  • Bess and pillows were excellent and hotel was overall very clean.
  • The bathroom was very small.

  • The room was well appointed for an older hotel, but the bathroom showed its age.
  • The only secure parking was valet parking. The location, the view and sounds of the city bus station.

“The hotel is nice for a price, but the hidden fee for valet parking quickly made the hotel, overpriced for its location and accommodations.”

  • I loved the star bucks in the lobby.
  • It was noisy, and our bathroom faucet gurgled all night long very loudly.

“They nickel and dimmed you to death. We were right beside of the bus station, so it was noisy on the street. Our neighbors were very loud, and for some reason our bathroom faucet gurgled all night long very loudly. At 4:00 in the morning, we didn't feel like calling maintenance. Someone had set the alarm clock for 4:30, but thankfully we caught it. The shower was slightly moldy. The hotel was the only thing about Nashville we didn't like. We were disappointed.”

  • Great service from the entire staff.
  • Put me in a smoking room which smelled really bad.

“I loved the public areas of the hotel. The employee's of the hotel were great; I had great service the entire time I was there. They offer a courtesy van which will take you within 5 miles of the hotel - which was nice. The only bad experience I had was with the room - they assigned me a smoking room which smelled really bad, and there were stains of unknown origins on the carpet.”

“We were traveling with a pet and given a room on the second floor. The second night of our stay, there was a high school affair at the hotel and the younger people were on the second floor to our left and right. The night was quite noisy until 3am. Not too pleasant. Otherwise, the hotel was very accommodating and comfortable.”

“This property definitely treated customers below other hotel guests. Only a smoking room was made available despite the fact I was traveling with two small kids. I was told that was the only kind of room available. This did not rub me the right way. We booked this room only 24 hours in advance and non smoking room types were available via the hotel directly. The property was very nice. They need some lessons in customer service. It appeared the front desk was not well run.”

  • The front desk staff was short and abrupt.

“The hotel was convenient to downtown; however front entrance was one flight above drive-up area and confusing to new visitor to hotel. Room was fine, beds were very comfortable.”

“The staff at the star bucks in the hotel was great! The maid service was good, we were shorted some washcloths, good thing I brought some from home to use, that only happened once though! The valet was excellent and very accommodating! The only thing negative was the person behind the counter when we checked in; he was a bit snobbish and not very friendly. ”

  • Located right next to the a very busy, although handy, bus stop.

“Very nice. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff, good shoe shines, and a good location. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends. Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies at arrival.”
