• Great location, comfortable beds.
• Thin walls you could hear inside the other rooms.

“The hotel is a very nice downtown hotel. The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was fine also. Our only complaint was the noise from the other rooms. The walls are apparently very thin. I could hear the woman next door cough all night long the first night as though she were in our room. The 2nd night we could hers the TV in the room on the other side of us until 2 in the morning and I don't think they had it on all that loud. In the morning we could hear the wake-up call in their room as though it was ringing in our room. The doors slam and shake your room. I am really not a light sleeper--they should really try to do something about the noise.”

• Lobby and public spaces were nice!
• Hotel didn't compare to other 5 star hotels in other cities I have stayed.

“The hotel was in a great location downtown. I found the public areas very attractive and well decorated. The room was on the small side and felt a bit dirty including very stained carpets, although the beds and linens were very nice. Overall I did not find this hotel of 5 star quality as that in other cities I have stayed.”

• Location.
• Sound abatement is the worst between rooms. Bathroom sound travels as well as bedrooms.

“Starbucks theme overpowers the entire lobby. Although the location was perfect. The hotel itself, from the hidden and misplaced pool/gym to the worst acoustics of any hotel I've ever stated in. I could hear every whisper or bodily function from the rooms on both sides of me - as though the walls were made of paper. The neon lobby was silly and immature. The Sheraton a few blocks away was classy, stylized and a true four star impression. The Marriott on Commerce was Holiday Inn, by the highway quality.”

• The bedding was attractive and fresh, bathroom very clean, maid helpful.
• Room was a little small for two queen beds.

“This hotel is one of our favorites. Always clean and friendly. Close to downtown and garage valet parking. Have stayed 5 to 6 times and never any surprises.”

• Great beds.
• Nothing included; not even caffeinated coffee!

“This is a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. The beds were incredibly comfortable. There was a daily charge for parking ($27), a charge for water in the room; no refrigerator in the room, only decaf coffee provided in the room (there's a Starbucks downstairs).”

• Location was superb.
• We booked 2 rooms as 2 couples and were not able to get king beds in each room. Valet also had wrong parking cost info!

• Friendliness of staff and location.
• Fee for wireless internet. Also, asked for family friendly restaurant and were told "Nashville is not family friendly.

“Over all a great experience for our family and friends. The staff was very friendly and the Bellman/Valet, Allen was most excellent.”

• The beds and pillows were very nice and the room was clean and the staff friendly.
• It had snowed and they did not clean the front entry.

“Nice hotel close to the Ryman here we attended a concert. rooms were clean and the bedding was top class and extremely comfortable.”

• Very comfortable room, bed was great and very comfortable to sleep on.
• The rooms did not have refrigerator or microwave available.

“Hotel was wonderful. Service was great and room was excellent. The only thing that we didn't like was the unavailability of appliances in room, no wireless internet in room and the parking garage was not free to guests.”

• Rude staff, unhelpful.

“Several of the staff were rude, and frosty, although in the bar/restaurant the opposite was true. When I inquired about late check-out the woman at the front desk was discourteous and unhelpful.”

• Menu selection in third floor deli was limited.

“Pleasant, clean, comfortable room. Nice amenities. Third floor deli/bar has limited menu and is very loud. Must walk through it to get to self-park garage.”

• Great location, Indoor Pool with Jacuzzi, Comfortable Beds.
• Little more than I wanted to pay.

“My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. We were walking distance away from great food and our favorited Hockey team the Nashville Predators. We enjoyed the indoor pool considering we haven't got to swim since August and we were only a short driving distance away from an ice skating rink. My wife and I had my 7 year old daughter and my 5 year old son with us. The kids absolutely loved riding the glass elevator to the upper floors. It cost a little more than I wanted to spend on a hotel but we did have an awesome time.”

• View, location, sky bar above street, country music theme.
• I planned to sleep until 10am but doors kept slamming at 7:30.I wanted 2 doubles, not the king I was given.

“Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Needs to be more upfront on how to get two double beds. Needs to put in pneumatic door silencers.”

• Kind and helpful staff, beautiful rooms, fun lobby decor, lot happening in lobby.
• No dislikes.

“For a quick trip to Nashville, staying in center city is best. The Renaissance Hotel, though large, is friendly and homey. Rooms are pretty, linens scrumptious. Slept like a baby. The lobby was full of life. Interior design is interesting and fun and freshly maintained.”
