  • Look of decor.
  • Location
    was
at the end of the runway. No sleep till planes stop flying each night.

“Good hotel with good staff, but poor location due to proximity to runway at airport.”

  • This hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, and GREEN! They stock the rooms with organic coffee and Aveda bath products!
  • The gym equipment needs to be updated.

“I love that they stock the rooms with organic coffee and Aveda bath products. They are way more green than any other hotel I've experienced.”

  • Security was great. had to use a key to use elevator.
  • The price for coffee was a little shocking at $2.75 since I was not at Starbucks.

“For the most part, I enjoyed the location, security, and availability of a restaurant but did not like the fact the breakfast staff was late by 45 min in opening on one of the days I was there.”

  • Duvets are trendy but way too warm. We could not get the room cool enough for sleeping under a duvet.

“Our room was very nice. It was tricky to get off the freeway to the hotel.”

  • Very modern, fun art displays.
  • Too steamy after shower without fan, airport runway kept my boyfriend awake, but not me.

“Overall, I thought I definitely got what I paid for. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Being there for a short period of time to wake up and catch a morning flight, the location was more than convenient! Thanks Priceline”

  • Nothing

“Bar is at entrance and check in was less than professional.Noise was very loud and people with too much to drink were in parking lot. carpets were dirty and had to use card just to use elevator probably due to safety.”

  • Your star rating is totally inaccurate for this place.

“It's old, tacky and the ceiling in the lobby leaks. It's dark everywhere - the rooms, lobby, bar, are all so dark.”

  • The decor.
  • Nothing.

“Nice, clean smart looking didn't like that i had to use my key card to use the lift.”

  • Trendy and quirky.
  • Smelled of smoke in some areas and loud metal doors on rooms.

“Trendy out of the norm hotel.”

  • The room was beautiful.
  • The people hanging around in the lobby.

“The Hotel is beautiful. It decorations are pretty but the people hanging around outside the hotel and in the lobby were kind a scary.”

  • It was decorated neatly , and was clean and comfortable
  • It did not have a hot tub.

“Very comfortable. Decor was interesting. However there was no hot tub. That was the only thing that we did not have that was what we wanted.”

  • The artwork/atmosphere. Comfy bedding and a
    good size rooms.
  • The restaurant lacked ambiance - ate dinner and brunch there.

“Great location. Nice, sized pleasant rooms.”

  • Pillow menu and the linens and towels and soaps.
  • Restuarant was to expansive to eat there.

“Would stay there again, thanks for listing them.”

  • Bed was reasonably comfortable.
  • Has the feel of a cheap, by the hour hotel.

“This hotel appears to cater to the by-the-hour crowd. The check-in desk is illuminated with red lights, the lobby has female breast decor, the hallways are extremely dark (almost frighteningly so), the elevators are covered with a red flocked leopard wallpaper. The rooms are just OK and the bathroom has only candelabra light bulbs, making it very dark. Our sink didn't drain and the towels were very thin. There seems to be a disturbing trend of buying old low grade hotels and converting them to "boutique" hotels by adding a few modern fixtures (faucets, etc.)”

  • Maintenance man was nice as well as helpful with some of the problems.
  • Dirty, broken air-conditioner, poor wireless connection, poor greeting from guest, unkempt overall.

“This rating/review is about the Holiday Inn in East Memphis. Dirty, poor wireless, poor staff attention to detail, hotel not kept up overall, very old and loud air-conditioning units (couldn't sleep), smelly halls. I stayed the night before at the Doubletree Inn also in East Memphis and it was clearly not in the same class as this Holiday Inn.”

  • Atmosphere, efficient staff.

“Great experience, lovely decor and cordial employees. Clean and stylish.”
