• Convenient to area diners and restaurants.
• Mold on carpet in room when staying in there activated allergies.

“Nice looking from outside in room not very friendly feeling. Have stayed in many hotels am always looking for new places. Need 24 hour desk person as hotel guests were propping door open to smoke any one could enter building.”

• People were great.
• Cut corners.

“The motel was difficult to find as the building was "buried behind others with a small sign JUST off the off ramp from Interstate 64. To go west, we had to drive almost a mile, sit at along traffic light and then do a "U" turn. The building's appearance was good, there was literally no lobby (no problem), the room was relatively clean, nice bed, new TV, nice refrigerator stove, with kitchen utensils provided (even dishes, cups, and eating utensils). This is where I become a little confused. Why go to that care and have the following: had to switch rooms as the air conditioner was not working (it was 90+ degrees the day we arrived/ I was told that it had recently been serviced and was told how to get the unit going, but was not successful), had to get my key cards re-keyed twice as they would not work, the blanket on the bed had at least 4 holes of quarter size or more (wear or moths), and the bathroom towels/ was cloth were VERY thin. The price was good, but what confuses me is why cut corners on things that, in my never to be humble opinion, could be upgraded for a very small comparable cost. I would have been willing to pay $10.00 more per night if it would have helped. It's a real shame, because it's the little things that can make or break. ”
