• Friendly staff, only because they were happy to still have a job. hotel was sold to new corporation.
• Dirty, dusty, noisy, hot, smelly, unpleasant, moldy, and just plain uncomfortable.

“Hotel is very old, needs to be torn down and rebuilt rather than spending the money to patch it up. Bathroom smelled of mold and wallpaper was coming off in many places because of the lack of proper ventilation. Was not pleased with this Hotel.”

• Restaurant and service is very good especially in breakfast, the location is good.
• Not clean, the shampoo didn't replace at all.

“Generally staff is good for service, but the quality of hotel is not 3-star level.”

• The room was spacious and clean.
• The bathroom was old and sinks and tub had cracks in it.

“The hotel was old and needed to be upgraded especially the bathrooms. The bed was uncomfortable. The location was good and the restaurant was good and very accommodating.”

• The food.
• The pool was broken, and the doors slammed constantly throughout the night.

• I loved the view!
• I think it should be baby proofed things need to be up high there just has to be a better system for travelers with toddlers.

“I really enjoyed the room .The view was pretty and my room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful oh and the bathroom was really clean as well. I wish I could tell about the pool but when I got to the hotel I literally had to get in the bed which was really comfy by the way but I got so sick. I had the stomach bug and there I stayed for the night.”

“Having a pool, room service should not be the only criteria. General cleanliness and hygiene should rate higher. Rooms need a thorough revamp. Staff was amazing. Decent breakfast.”

• Close to where I wanted to be.
• Bathrooms - old and dirty looking.

“Located close to falls -not overly clean on the outside although it was off-season. Bathrooms were old looking, small and not overly pleasant. Definitely not a 3 star hotel - more of a two star at best.”

• Coffee shop in the lobby.
• Noisy level, many teenagers running up and down halls day and night as parents were in casino.

“Rooms had cheap hardwood floors so you hear everyone over you if they walked in heals or ran around. Only place Ive ever been with wood floors in the bedroom.”

• Perfect location and great staff, felt really welcomed.
• Too much cold air from the front desk in the lounge area.

“We had 21 family members do a weekend getaway. We very much enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly and the hotel was a very great choice.”

• Nothing the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in my life.
• In one word it would be everything.

“This is the worst of the worst old smelly hotel Ive ever been in. We actually had a rat in our room.”

• It is pretty good for the price and location.
• Remodeled. But some place still not very good.

“It is a good place for travel with kids. Have fun in the poor. Location is close to the fall. Good for the price and location if you can not cross the board to Canada.”

• The beds were very comfortable, and the lobby was very nice. Location was key.
• The room service never made our bed, but did clean the room. The pool area was run down and needed a paint job.

“I have heard that there are rooms that have not been renovated, and that those should be avoided. As far as the renovated rooms go, they are beautiful they have laminate wood flooring, big comfortable beds, a nice leather chair, and plenty of little supplies. The bathrooms left much to be desired; the shower was kind of small, and kind of old looking. The lobby has a very nice clean architecture with leather chairs and nice tiles. It has a very modern lounge style of decorating throughout the hotel. It's no elegant Brock plaza grand hotel entrance like across the river, but it's clean modern and very nice. Its location is perfect for those visiting the falls on the American side, right next door to a little boardwalk looking area. Hard rock is one block away, and the river is just out of view. I'm sure some of the top floor rooms have river views though. My overall opinion is do not hesitate to stay in this hotel, but their inflated in season price of 160 a night is too much.”

• Clean, laminate floors, great location near the falls.
• No problems. Good value, not a four star, but very nice.

“On the high side of adequate. Helpful front desk. Nice sandwich bar in lobby for a quick snack.”
