“Hotel was fine. Great view of river from window. Room was a strange shape but was a bit bigger than most NY hotels. Problem getting cab from hotel at night. Needed to walk up to second or third ave to get cabs. It was strange to have luggage sniffed by dog before entering hotel.”

“The Hotel was nice and clean for the most part. The draw back is that there is very dirty bathrooms that are moldy and need to be updated. Also, there is no subway line within 10 blocks at least from the hotel.”

“The hotel looks really nice and the lobby is great too. However, some of the staff are not really friendly, no initiative from the staff to offer help.”

“A nice hotel situated a short walk from Grand Central Station with beautiful views of the East River, Chrysler Building and Empire State Building and the UN.”

“Overall, this is a very nice hotel. The location is great and the views of the Empire State was fun. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner for my taste and the fixtures are dated, but the overall size of the room for NYC is great.”

“This hotel was older, but well-appointed, with large rooms, great views and professional staff. If you don't mind a walk or taxi from the city center, it is a quiet and comfortable place to stay. Rates were very reasonable for a higher-end New York City hotel, with no loss of amenity or service.”

“With this being our first visit to New York, we really didn't know what to expect. We felt safe immediately after arriving to our destination due to the courteous staff. With it being so close to the UN, it was very exciting to so many different countries represented. Staff always assisted with areas to avoid, taxi's etc. We would gladly stay here again”

“This is our second time staying here and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly, security was always present, and our overall stay was satisfying. The price for a room of this type in New York was fabulous!”

“The walk to Time Square was a lot longer than 5 blocks, but it was still nice. I truly loved the views of the city and the river. The ladies who check us in gave us a nice upgrade. The Ambassador Grill downstairs was awful! My waffle was sour as if the batter was very old. The buffet was too much for nothing. Overall I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff was wonderful, the room was very nice, and the views were to die for.”

“My wife and I loved our stay at the Millennium UN Plaza. The room was perfect: clean, beautifully furnished, had a huge bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows, courteous service and a view of midtown NYC from the 40th floor that was breathtaking. We can't say enough about this hotel that suited our needs perfectly.”

“The hotel looked nice on the outside and the location was decent. However, the room was older, seventies style and in need of remodeling. The carpet was old and the bathroom fixtures were outdated. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and old. Also, in the middle of the night, the guests in the next room kept opening and shutting their doors and talking loudly every half an hour from 12:30 am on. I had to call the front desk to report this and they sent security up to the 40th floor. It did not help at all and I did not get any sleep. Overall, I was very unimpressed with this hotel and it should not be rated as 3 1/2 stars.”

“This hotel looks like it was quite high-end when new. Now it is showing its age. The views are still incredible, but there are signs everywhere that the property has not been kept up as well as it could have been: scuffed walls, stained or wrinkled carpets, lamps askew or wobbly, dirty windows, etc.”
