• Very limited parking at hotel.

“Double beds & TV excellent. Bathroom medium. Need mini refrigerator. Room far from elevator.”

• Super clean bathroom! Comfortable bed.
• Not enough lighting in room - too dark!

“Very pleasant stay experience. Great continental breakfast. Room was very clean. Especially clean bathroom - very happy about that. Comfy bed. Nice people. Even size of room okay for New York area. Only complaint would be not enough lighting in room at night to read - I would like more brightness in room.”

• Rude staff at front desk, rooms were very small.

“We arrived expecting a luxurious room for the price. The beds were just ordinary. The rude staff at the desk led us to believe the rooms were huge, and we would have plenty of room. You could barely shut the bathroom door if you were using the toilet. The desk staff was very rude to our children, made us feel that we were not worthy of their hotel, we felt belittled. It was the worst hotel experience of our week. Weren't we sorry!”

• The subway was close because no cabs were around that area.
• It is clearly not a 3 star hotel. I feel I was Hoodwinked!

“Staff was rude and appeared to be bothered by having to answer questions. Doorman was not selective in who he let into the lobby. Neighbor is not exactly the most safe.”

• Hotel had Free hi-speed internet, flat panel TV.
• Room was small but nice and elegant.

“This hotel is great for anyone wanting to stay close to the Empire State Building. It is also close to nice Chinese restaurants. There is also a Metro Subway area right down the street.”

• Good location for a great price during an expensive holiday weekend. Breakfast was great!
• The room was small, but what can you expect in NYC. Most hotel rooms are going to be small unless you spend a lot.

“It was a nice hotel, about a 10 min train ride to Times Square/5th Ave area. The hotel lobby was very attractive and the staff was very friendly and efficient in the check-in/check-out process. The room was very comfortable, clean, and attractive. I thought it was a great find in NYC and I would stay there again.”

• The Bellhop/luggage men were very helpful in getting luggage, arranging transportation.
• The wait staff in the restaurant were not very attentive to their patrons.

“Overall, I would stay at this hotel again, it is located close to a subway station, plenty of access to taxi's. The surrounding areas were safe, easy access to restaurants and a pharmacy/convenience store.”

• Lovely room. Great view of the Chrysler building!
• There were a couple of families with out-of-control kids.

“The Park South is a lovely hotel that has been nicely restored. The beds, rooms, baths and restaurant were all much better than expected. It is right on the 6 Subway Line, which made it convenient for travel anywhere. I called to request two doubles, and after a short delay, the clerk set it up. Very nice place!”

• The continental breakfast was to kill for! Fantastic!
• The elevators need an upgrade.

“This is a very nice hotel in Murray Hill; very convenient to midtown (and, via the 4-5-6 train and close proximity to Grand Central, the rest of the city). The continental breakfast is fantastic, the rooms clean and comfortable.”

• Location was great. steps away from the 6 subway train.
• The room was pretty small. Enough for the bed but not much room to relax.

“The bathroom was a great size for the small room. However, the water pressure for the shower was really weak. It did have hot water just fine. There was no view. Complimentary continental breakfast was great for traveling on a budget. It was enough to feel full, not the most delicious stuff, but very good for a free meal.”

• Clean and convenient. Excellent "continental" breakfast.
• The room was SO tiny. But I know there are bigger rooms. Also, the lobby was very dark for my taste.

“The room we stayed in was very tiny for two people but I'm sure there are larger rooms. We didn't spend a lot of time in it anyway. The folks at the desk were very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was huge with many choices - a pleasant surprise. It was easy to walk places from 28th street and there is a subway station on that block.”

• Clean room, helpful staff.
• Right outside our room were several doors from housekeeping and the kitchen very loud with dishes and things from 05:00 in the am!

“Liked the room, no view, clean room and lobby. Yummy breakfast. Would recommend a room farther from kitchen noise.”

• The service was wonderful, and the rooms look recently remodeled.
• We had some trouble with the toilet and some of the towels looked unclean (spots).

“The hotel was great. Very good service and the continental breakfast is a great bonus which probably saved us $30 a day, if not more. The room service (for ice and a problem with the toilet) was very prompt and courteous. We didn't have the time or energy to check out the work out room, but will definitely check it out next time. If we were there without children, we would have eaten at the Black Duck Restaurant, which looked very cozy and romantic with a small jazz band playing. When we entered the room, the refrigerator was already cold, which is a big plus. A lot of places leave it turned off and then it takes forever to get cold and chill the contents. Overall, we had a great stay. Thank you.”

• The room was quiet, nice breakfast buffet.
• The cleaning of the bathroom was not good, hairs.

“The location of the hotel was very good. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were a few nice public areas for lounging or reading. The business center was well equipped. Good access to subways, shopping, and neighborhood stores. The housekeeping could have been much better. We would definitely go back to this hotel.”

• We asked for 2 double beds and they did not seem to care about our request.
