  received a smoking room.

“The experience was great and could have been better had
I been in a non smoking room!! (that room stunk) if it wasn't for that it would be a 10 all the way!
I would like to stay there again the next time
I am in NYC!”

• Concierge was fantastic! Location was amazing! Clean.
• Beds were hard. Front desk folks not the friendliest.

“Enjoyed my stay at the hotel, despite the hard beds. The location of the hotel was right by Times Square which was perfect for shows, restaurants and getting on the Subway. The Concierges were phenomenally helpful. They had great recommendations and directions. The front desk staff was usually not the friendliest, and we always had a short line when we needed their service.”

• The rooms in this hotel are much larger than the other hotels in NYC that I have stayed. Very comfortable.
• Can't think of a thing.

• Convenience to Time Square.
• Beds were uncomfortable for 3 1/2 star hotel.

“The hotel was very reasonable for the price obtained on Priceline. If I had paid the full price through reservations I would have been very disappointed. While the staff was very helpful, the room was plain and beds were not up to par with other recent hotels I have stayed in.”

“Location was great for a city visit that included a Broadway show and visits to time square and tours of the city. staff was outstanding, and worked to meet or exceed all of our expectations, we would give this hotel a great recommendation.”

• Large bathroom, comfortable bed, location excellent.
• Pillow shams were soiled. No extra blanket or pillow in closet.

“This hotel was located conveniently between 44th and 45th streets (with door opening onto both streets) less than 1 block from Times square. The elevators were very quick and the staff very friendly. The bellmen and the Registration staff were quick with a smile and a friendly comment. Our room was a good size and well appointed as was the bathroom. I was disappointed to find that the bed covering and the Pillow sham covers had not been cleaned between guests. Many hotels are now using duvets with removable cotton covers that are easily changed when the sheets are changed. As usual, even though we hung up our towels to use them again, the towels were exchanged for clean ones. It is evident that they are not a very "green" hotel in that the shower and toilets are not low flow. Wi-Fi is $13 us per 24 hrs. All in all, a comfortable hotel and I would stay there again, and recommend it to my friends.”

“Poor place. Room wasn't cleaned. Maid then left gloves, cleaning supplies in room. Sheets were thin and bed spread gross.”

• Good location. Clean and modern.
• Large column in the lobby blocked the front desk. Wasn't sure where to stand to be seen by the clerk.

• The room was dirty.

“The room had not been cleaned since the last guest. There were half used shampoo/conditioner bottles in the shower as well as a used soap. There was also hair on the floor of the bathroom, an unused spoon on the nightstand and opened take-out plastic-wear on the side table. One of the pillow cases had even been stepped on with his shoe. Management was appalled by this! She then offered to pay for my parking at the hotel.”

• Getting stuck with a smoking room for one night.

• Bed and pillows not comfortable, one bathroom light wasn't working, the restaurant was awful (the worst service).

“If I had known and was able to choose, I would not stay at this hotel. This was for a special birthday weekend, and I was very disappointed.”

• Carpet somewhat soiled, mildew under sink rim.

“Overall a good experience. Location is great with restaurants and theaters close by. Hotel restaurant is extremely expensive for the quality of food.”
