• Location to museums.
• They put us in a handicap room.

• Location, cleanliness, decor, staff & restaurant were nice.
• Traffic noise due to the single glass pane window. Sealed double glazed window should be invested in such a nice hotel.

“Very nice hotel; great location, great staff, clean, very good restaurant. However the traffic noise bothered me at night when I was sleeping. It felt like the window was left opened all night. The hotel owners should invest in changing the present single glass pane windows with double sealed units. The hotel rating would easily jump in rating.”

• Amazing staff - the service was easily equivalent to 4-5 star hotels!
• Nothing!

“The Lucerne is truly a find! I was slightly reluctant due to the price of the room, which was very reasonable, and in New York that could mean any number of unpleasant things... However, I was thrilled with this superb hotel! The rooms were on the smaller side probably due to the building's age, but very clean and nicely decorated. Our stay was during the 100+ degree heat wave of early August and the room was ice cold and the staff put out complimentary bottled water for guests. The concierge was incredibly helpful as well. Last but not least, the location is also ideal! Two blocks from Central Park and surrounded by all the great restaurants and shops on the Upper West Side! We'll be staying again!”
