“The hotel was nice and clean but the internet was only available in the lobby (they charge extra $10/day for a cable in your room and after my 1st day, the wireless in the lobby was not working and all had to use the one computer in the so called business center which had a very old and cheap desktop and the printer wasn't working the whole time even after I informed the front desk they didn't do anything about it. Internet is very important all the time but even more when you have business to do. There was no sleep number beds that was only on the TV commercial but not in real life.”

“The room was very dirty - bathroom especially - and we had to ask for it to be cleaned again. The hotel has a lot of parties and the police were there while we were there on noise and other problems, rooms are also not clean in terms of rugs, walls etc.”

“The hotel was a good value for the money. Hotel conveniently located 4 blocks walking distance to Metro North Commuter Rail for $6-8/30 min trip to/from Grand Central Station. Rooms were clean and well cared for, housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Desk staff was generally friendly and helpful, the evening crew more so than the days. Hotel has seen better days, the common area appeared well worn and tired, buckling floor in lobby, visibly worn carpeting. The pool, cool and refreshing after a long day walking through the city had comfortable zero gravity lounge chairs, but there was peeling paint floating debris in the pool. Overall I enjoyed my stay, the convenience and price worked well for my travel needs.”

“
The Radisson at New Rochelle is easy to find. It is less than a mile from I-95. Not too much in the area. A train station is about 4 blocks away. The hotel is old looks worn out. Stains were on the floor in front of the desk. The hotel looked like it was built in the 70s. The refrigerator did not work. The room was okay. The bed was great. The area is not much to look at.

“On our floor (5th), there was chaos in the middle of the night. We were awakened by people yelling and pounding on doors incredibly loud for over 30 minutes before they were quieted by hotel management. Unacceptable.”

“I have stayed here for a number of years as it is convenient for business. I think it would be nice if the hotel put a bowl of fruit out during the day or had fresh cookies on the counter (like some others I've visited).”

“Old, dirty, tired furniture and facilities. The "sleep number" bed is only if you pay a lot extra - standard beds are thin, lumpy + very uncomfortable. The breakfast/brunch buffet looked and smelled so old we did not eat there.”

“I needed a hotel close to Mamaroneck, which this was. Price was great. Not as convenient as the Radisson in the New Roc, off Boston Post Rd. Did not dine, but had a drink in the bar. Service was slow, due to only one bar tender and a large crowd. Would stay there again for the price!”

“The hotel had a star rating of 3, however, that leads travelers to expect much more than what they get when staying at this hotel. The hotel lobby was nice but the room need everything replaced and updated. We stayed at the 2.5 rated hotel in New Rochelle (Residence Inn) earlier this year and it was much better than this hotel.”

“They did not have room I booked. I chose hotel for Sleep Number bed to experience it and did not very disappointing. Construction in front of hotel very disruptive and noisy. Price should have been reduced in half due too this inconvenience. If I had known there was construction, I would not have stayed there. Checked out at 7 in the morning to escape it. On the whole I felt I wasted this trip.”

“We were a couple on business travel. That was not one of the choices. The hotel was clean. The bed was nicely firm. The room was well appointed. The air conditioning worked well. The front desk staff when we checked in was welcoming and very helpful. There was no breakfast provided, not even coffee in the lobby. Even one star hotels that we have stayed in provide coffee! The front desk staff when we checked out was rude. The hotel is well located.”

“Friendly hotel in an area for business travelers only [ except the immediate proximity of the train station to new York] no restaurants around, only the hotel one which is fine, no possibility of walking around as the area is very poor. Nice room except this bad experience of cleanliness.”
