• Very courteous staff. Nice breakfast area and food selections.
• Our room looked like it hadn't been dusted in a while. Bathroom showing some signs of wear & tear.

“It wasn't the best of neighborhoods, however it was very convenient to the airport and that was our primary consideration. We did feel safe inside the hotel and the parking lot was secure. Did have to drive a ways to find a nice restaurant.”

• The hotel was attractive and the people were friendly.
• The location was in a less than great part of town but it was safe.

“I enjoyed the hotel. The room was attractive and clean. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it was not the greatest part of town, but I would stay there again.”

• It's appearance.
• The one way in and out; and the fence around the hotel makes you feel trapped.

“The hotel needs a better outside surrounding to give it a romantic feel.”

• It was exactly what I expected for the price I paid.
• Area surrounding the hotel property was not that nice. The hotel grounds were nice.

“The day I checked out there was a receipt under the door explaining the hotel charges. This was great.”

• Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• Pool closed for a few hours one morning for cleaning.

“I was very happy with this hotel. It was a great place to stay with 2 small children. Not overly crowded and very accommodating.”

• Nice pool.
• Unfriendly staff, would not help daughter, who broke collar bone 3 days earlier, no roll away beds allowed.

“We have stayed at many Holiday Inns and this was the biggest disappointment we've ever had. My older daughter broke her collar bone 3 days earlier and the hotel did nothing to accommodate her. We asked for a roll away bed to prop her up and were told the city of Memphis did not allow them, for fire safety reasons. Yet I did see a roll away bed in another room. The room had already been paid for and we were not able to change to another hotel that would accommodate us. It was a very unpleasant night with little sleep by anyone in the room.”

• Check in lady and the night watchman went out of their way for us.
• Maid did not give us towels for the last day.
