“We requested to have our room clean, never happened. We didn't have towels, the outlets didn't work, the pool was green, the security doors by our room near a dark parking lot never locked, no ice in the ice machine. Poor service.”

“Overall, it was okay. Could be a bit cleaner. I checked in very late, so didn't get a chance to order room service or observe staff's friendliness, but the front desk staff was pretty nice.”

“The hotel staff was nice and assisted as needed. The parking lot was well lit all the way around the building. Behind the hotel is a runaway for the Fedex planes (less than 50 yards away) to warm up their engines before taking off. The sound of the engines was a little annoying but we slept through it. My turn offs with the hotel, the toilet made a weird noise every time we flushed it, a few of the TV channels had no sound but picture or vice versa, our room had two beds and one of the bed frames jutted out like 6 inches into the walkway. Some of our friends banged their shin into cause the bed's cover draped over the frame and it wasn't noticeable until you hit it. We spent about 10 minutes shifting the mattress and bed frame around so nobody lost a shin that night. Otherwise, the hotel accomplished the goal of being a hotel and offering us a good night of sleep. We were pleased and I would stay here again!”

“The first thing is that it is in an unsafe area, and the constant noise from the airport makes it difficult to sleep. The lobby and the exterior of the hotel make you think you will be getting a wonderful room. But the rooms are not clean and in disrepair, with bugs around, and the staff doesn't really care. They will perhaps stop talking to each other long enough to change your room, but the another room won't be much better. Also, the rooms are a long walk from the lobby. The only thing worse than the room is the neighborhood in which the hotel is located.”

“Upon check in the bedding had not been changed. We were immediately moved to a different room. Which was clean and there was no other issue with that. Halls were not vacuumed daily so looked unkempt. I was there for 4 days, went to make coffee and pot did not work went to iron and someone had melted something all over the iron. Both cases I was immediately provided a new one. Staff was excellent.”

“I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone. After killing several cockroaches that were crawling up the walls, I scanned the walls for others and found the smashed remains of roaches that were killed there prior to my arrival. These unsanitary conditions are unacceptable, even in one 1-star hotels. Fortunately I did not dine here.”

“This particular hotel was near the airport with no neighborhoods particularly close. I felt safe. I knew the airport would be noisy so the plane sounds were expected and not as bad as it could have been. The hotel and foyer look nice at first glance but it's cosmetic at best. Although probably recently remodeled. it looked more like cheap cover up. Mildew showed through spiderwebs, old airconditioner units that made horrible sounds and merely circulated the air. In the first room it didn't even work. We were told to adjust the temperature on a wall thermostate not the unit however after searching the room even behind and under furniture one could not be found. In the 2nd room moisture comming from the AC made the sheets damp. The bathroom doors stuck and we had to help each other get out. Sinks leaked, the programmable comfort bed remote was broken, the bed was hard and small (full size) etc. The hotel staff was very very frindly however with the exception of the check desk person, who was very short with us and treated us the way I would expect to be treated from a drive thru worker taking my order. All in all, it's not a bad place to stay if stopping through or on business for a night but not for leisure and certainly not worth the price.”

“Overall, our stay was wonderful. We loved the luxuries and conveniences of the hotel. The sleep number bed was an amazing night's rest. There was a hotel courtesy computer to check the web - which turned out to be helpful. All the your shower supplies are provided, etc. The staff was also just flat out awesome. They gave us directions and suggestions for locale attractions, and also helped us coordinate transportation. The housekeeping staff was even nice to us - organizing our toiletries and leaving us sweet notes. All in all, this was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had.”

“The first two days I was on the first floor (ground level) and was soon visited by crickets. The room was musty smelling. The people next door were smoking and so it was a semi-smoking room. I asked to be moved to another room, and a very professional staff member courteously made the switch to a very nice room on the second floor. The room was much nicer and much more comfortable.”

“Just ask for a room near the front of the hotel so that you do not hear the roaring plan engines. The rooms were dirty (the walls, floors, and mirrors) when compared to other hotels I have stayed in. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for an extended stay due to the cleanliness issue. My sleep number bed began working the second night of my stay. Some of the hotel staff is friendly. Overall, it was an average stay.”

“This hotel is right on the airport property entrance - 50 feet from the Fed-EX run-way. However, we were in the inner complex away from the run-way, kept our air conditioner on and never heard the noise, surprisingly but true and I am a light sleeper. Hotel is nice, but the staff is the main downfall. When we checked in about 4:00 pm we were told that there was a wait list for rooms with double beds non -smoking, ok, we were given a choice of room with smoking double beds or king room and they would bring us a roll-away bed. We opted for the king and roll-away. Stayed in the room for about an hour, called about roll-away. Yes, sir we are about to bring it. We left to go downtown to Beale Street and returned around 10:00 pm. Still no roll-away called the front desk and "we'll bring it right up." waited about 45 min and I went down to the front desk. I told the manager on duty that we really needed our bed, my daughter was sleeping with us in the king, but my son really needed his bed. I told him there was a roll-away at the end of our hall - he said get it. I told him that was fine, could he give me some sheets - no he said he'd bring them up to us. We finally doubled up a blanket of ours from home and make-shifted him something to sleep on - at midnight! The door was knocked and my sleepy spouse answered to find the manager with sheets! Next day, came back to clean room but only 2 towels for 4 people, went to front desk for towels - we'll bring them right up was the answer - never saw the towels - called twice - no towels ever came!”
