“We stayed at this hotel because of volleyball tournaments at The Ohio Expo Center. It was perfect for this as it was clean and close to the venue. The continental breakfast was great before we had to leave early in the morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.”

• It was very close to the highway, it made it really easy to get where we were going, plus there was a Wendy's right next door.
• The area was run down.

“The room size was great. It was well kept up. Cable TV was very limited, only 10 channels to choose from. Continental breakfast was good. Hotel was very close to highway and was next to a fast food restaurant. The area was very industrial and rundown though.”

• Staff excellent and the maids were wonderful and good at keeping us with everything we needed.
• The location was very unsafe. If you drove down the street it was bad as far as safety.

“It was really great. The location might be a concerned of women traveling alone or going out by yourself at anytime. The neighborhood was bad. The security guards were really nice guys and helpful.”

• The desk clerk was helpful with information on where to shop and eat.
• The room was clean but needs to be updated. there were signs posted telling us to keep quite.

“There were several holiday inn express' in the area, but unfortunately I chose the one in a very bad community/location. the wall paper in our room was peeling off the wall and there were permanent dirt stains in the tub. If you are going to put a hotel in such a poor community at least keep it looking nice, updated.”

• Rooms were quiet and clean. Easy access to oust.
• The neighborhood was a little less than desirable.

“Overall and pleasant stay and nice room. Easy access to i-71 and the Ohio state university. The neighborhood was a bit of a concern but not an issue during my stay.”

• Hotel was conveniently located off the highway, staff was courteous and friendly, and hotel was clean.
• Surrounding area was a little rundown.

“While the area surrounding the hotel was run-down, I felt completely safe within the hotel. Staff was friendly and courteous, continental breakfast was sufficient, and the room was clean and spacious enough for the solo traveler. I would stay here again on a return trip to Columbus.”

• No refrigerator, no microwave and seedy section of town.

“This HI Express is not as good as any other HI Express I have stayed at. As well as the above observations the pool area has no Jacuzzi. There is nothing around it except a dirty looking Wendy's. You have to drive to get to anything. It is close to the expressway but it is not worth staying there for that as there are far nicer hotels like this in more desirable area just one and two exits away.”
