“Stayed for one night passing through Ohio. Had never been to Cleveland. Seemed like a decent location although the construction across the street detracted from the visual appeal. Close to Baseball park, and had a nice assortment local establishments to visit. Parking around the corner in public facility for $12, validated by hotel, which allowed as many ins/outs as desired. Supposedly close to Rock & Roll hall of fame. Would have liked to stay an extra day or so. The free upgrade to the room was really nice.”

“The location was good and the room was clean, but there was one problem. Nobody informed us that the street, this hotel is on, is under major construction, and that it is very hard to find this hotel if you do not know downtown Cleveland well.”

“The ice machines were all broken, finally the desk sent us to the 9th floor for ice, we were on the 5th. The staff was great! Good directions and advice for local dining. Great location, everything in walking distance including the rock and roll hall of fame.”

“1. I was not provided an extra bed but I ended up paying for it anyway. 2. The toilet flush did not work and we had to move rooms with luggage and young child to another room in the middle of the night. 3. The hotel's elevators need magnetic room key cards to operate. My son got stuck in the elevator. My own cards did not work half the time. Very frustrating experience. 4. The TV set did not work and it took the hotel forever to send a person to fix it and he took a long time to fix it, by that time we were too tired to watch the telly and just went to sleep thereby missing an important tennis match (Indian Wells Open Tournament - Nadal Versus Blake match).”

“For a two star hotel, it was great. Nice big room and a Jacuzzi tub to boot! Parking was expensive and not very convenient. But that all worked out in the end.”

“The hotel was great. It was very easy to locate in the city and it was very close to the arena that our event was at. There were great restaurants and night life very close to it as well, and was within walking distance to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame and waterfront. The quality of the hotel was great and our room was much nicer than we anticipated for the cost we got it at. All in all, a great experience.”

“The facilities at this establishment and the location are appropriate for downtown locations. The maid service was definitely lacking. There was hair all over our bathroom, and one day the maid didn't even come. The telephone and alarm clock were broken. We made the staff aware of the situation, but they were not fixed or replaced. Additionally, we do not recommend being outside after dark. We were nearly mugged a block from the hotel. The next day, we were advised by hotel staff and a police officer not to walk after dark, nor to use public transit after 8 pm. All the city/business employees that we dealt with (with the exception of the night desk clerk) were extremely helpful, but there are an extremely large number of panhandlers. We did not feel safe.”

“We arrived late at the hotel, after 11pm. Check in was uncomplicated. We were amazed at the size of the room. The shower was great. The location between Jacobss field and the convention center was excellent. Sammy's Cafe (the little cafe in the hotel) served the best soup in town and was an easy way for us to get a quick lunch. Beds and pillows were superb. Best kept secret in Cleveland.”

“This hotel has been created by renovating an old bank building. The rooms are in the upper office levels of the building. The rooms however are palatial (at least the one I was in was). Windows look out over the canyons of downtown Cleveland, which is not much of a view.”
