“The main lobby with faux-marble floors and grand piano, might lead one to think that a memorable stay is ahead. Unfortunately, the memories may be more negative than positive. The staff tends to be unresponsive to problems, and difficult to understand. Our room on this stay was dark and dingy. The carpet showed much wear and tear. The bathroom fixtures were leaky, and the room's anemic heater was very noisy. The patio door leaked, and during a modest rain shower, the carpeting was soaked. The TV had minimal cable channels, and not a sign of Wi-Fi. All of the allure of this hotel is in the lobby. From there, it's all downhill.”

“This hotel needs a renovation. The bath tile had mold, the room was outdated. Seemed to be a host for younger parties resulting in several drunk guests, fights, etc. Not sure if this is a normal weekend there or not. Hotel security did respond and call police.”

“This hotel is nice, and served it's purpose. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the need arises. I had a good experience and can't say its a bad hotel in general. The staff was friendly and met my expectations.”

“This would be a great hotel for the air traveler, shuttle from airport. However, for an automobile traveler, parking was pricing and inconvenient.”

“Good location and very convenient right in the heart of Cincinnati. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was not where it should be. I had fruit flies flying all over the room and bathroom, the bathroom floor had dirt all over it, and towels had dark, dirty spots from the rack on which they were folded, that was probably not dusted in a very long time. The staff was polite and available but sort of "cold and uninterested". I had a pleasure to stay at the same hotel few years ago and it was a lot better and very positive experience. This time it was a disappointment.”

“This hotel is in a great location, but does not compare to its competitors in the area. This hotel does not offer year round pool and spa facilities, the property is somewhat dated, and lacks some of the amenities that you might expect out of this kind of hotel. This was a bit of a let down. Thankfully, I did not have to spend allot of money for it.”

“Large, modern hotel in a good location in downtown Cincinnati. Attractive and elegant lobby. Rooms are clean with modern furniture/decor. Bathrooms appear to have been recently updated. Outdoor pool/sundeck available only Memorial Day-Labor Day. Would highly recommend this Hotel.”

“Because it is on the corner, it is quite easy to find. The valet parking is mandatory if you wish to park your vehicle on hotel property and is $20. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are friendly and courteous. The room was perfect for what I needed, but I don't think it would be spacious enough for visitors with children. I ordered room service and everything was perfect. There were even fresh flowers on the tray! My only "problem" was that I reserved a king-size bed, but got two doubles. Rather than say anything, I just accepted the doubles, but I'm sure they would have made the proper adjustments if I said something. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to going back!”

“The rooms were nice and the restaurant was pleasant. My sister's purse was stolen out of the room on Thursday evening. The doors to the rooms did not latch properly and someone went into the room when we were all in another room and took her purse. Security was not very helpful and did not call the city police until we requested it. We feel that our room was secure and the fact that the door did not latch properly was how someone got in. We asked to have a copy of the report and was told we couldn't have it. Also we wanted to view the security tape to see if we could see anything suspicious and was told we couldn't. One room's phone did not work at all and when we tried to call the front desk using the button provided on the phones in the other rooms, we could never get through. It just rang and rang. We later learned that the little button that said "front desk" on the phone was not hooked up and we had to dial "0" to get front desk. There was no paper near the phone to tell us that. My brother-in-law called and left messages and we never received them. He called the hotel because he couldn't get through on their cell phone since her cell phone was in her purse that got stolen. All things considered we had a good time, but until their doors and phones are working properly, I couldn't really recommend them to anyone. The hotel did not even offer us any comps for all that went on.”
