“Musty smell due to massive water leak from A/C unit. Room poorly maintained. Fixtures falling from walls. Long wait to check in. Worst Four POints I've ever been in. Worst hotel I've been in in several years, regardless of price. ”

  • The hotel was located really close to major attractions
  • Parking! We parked in a lot that looked like it belonged to the hotel but it ended up costing us $15

“This hotel's location was perfectly located in reference to the Reds and Bengals Stadiums. The price was really reasonable but make sure you park in the hotel's parking lot. We arrived late and woke up the next morning with a letter on our vehicle saying that we owed $15 for parking or else we would be turned over to a collection agency. That is ridiculous!”

  • There were no non-smoking rooms available which ruined my whole experience.

“The location was great. Hotel was clean. Pool was good, but I was under the impression that non-smoking rooms were booked. I had problems with allergies the next day. Only problem that I had.”

  • Lack of free parking for guests.

“I recently stayed one night at this hotel on a trip to visit the Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY. Despite the affordable price I paid, every facet of my stay at the hotel was top-notch. The room and other hotel areas were all very clean. The staff was amazingly courteous, and the room service was excellent. My only complaint would be shared with other hotels in the area as well: When paying for a hotel room, it doesn't seem right to also have to pay a premium to park my car at the hotel. It would be nice if there were some sort of validation avaiable for paying guests of the hotel. ”

“Four Points Downtown is one of the best hotels I've visited in Cincinnati. I make 2-3 trips per year and this is a wonderful place to stay.”

  • The food at Bistro on Elm was o.k. The staff was very pleasant.

  • horrible pillows, no coolers allowed

“The staff was friendly and accommodating. They brought extra pillows when requested and allowed us a late check-out. The only downside was that the pillows (even the extras) were either flat as a pancake or lumpy.”

  • We were able to walk to a Reds game, bypassing loads of traffic.
  • You have to work hard to park for cheap, searching and walking.

“It's close to all that downtown has to offer but you lose some freedoms of suburban hotels. There is no free parking except the highly sought after meters on Sunday. We were a bit nervous about leaving our car in the lots and garages in the sketchy local area. Because it is part of the convention center complex there is no food allowed (but you can buy their $10 cheeseburgers if you've got money to burn) and there are plenty of rowdy and young guests around attending conventions.”

“The hotel was very nice. However, Parking is very difficult, especially if you have a trailer. When you call to ask about parking, the answer is different from when you actually arrive.”

  • Outdoor pool is AWESOME. hotel is conveniently located to many things.
  • Paying to park when you're already paying for a hotel room - this always urks me

“ Upscale atmosphere. If you eat at the hotel, be prepared to pay big bucks. Says no coolers or outside food permitted to be brought in, but hotel does not stand by the policy. Bar at the pool is very nice.”

  • Price and Location were it.
  • Dirty, old, needs to be updated, rooms were noisy, sheets were torn, bed skirts were ripped

“The location was great, the price was great...but that was it. The hotel itself is very old and needs to be updated, the rooms were not very clean - kleenex never was refilled after it had been out since we were there, sheets were torn, bedskirt was torn, room was very noisy - loud toilet, and anytime a door opened or closed in our hallway you could hear it. I would not stay at a 4 points sheraton again after this experience.”
