“We had been there a few years ago and it was excellent. It just seems to need some TLC. On the whole it was fine. We also would have liked a better view.”

“Great place, really clean and the pool was fantastic. Parking in the parking garage located behind the hotel was time consuming and was a disappointment as it took us 25 minutes to check out, most of which was spent going to retrieve the van and waiting for a spot in front of the hotel to open up so I could pack. With that said, I would definitely stay there again as it was very clean.”

“I checked in and did not stay. The room was very outdated with chipped furniture and old carpet. The lobby and entrance is in terrible condition. The parking garage is not attached and isn't secure. It is a public garage and costs an additional 15.00 a night. The hotel is in a rundown part of downtown and I did not feel safe walking from the parking garage to my hotel. I was also worried about the security of my car and it's contents. I left the hotel for these reasons and checked into a different hotel.”

“
The room had a spectacular view of the river and the Detroit skyline. It will cost you an extra $20 per night to have the room with a view. Also, when you check in, you will be informed that it will cost an additional $10 per night to park your car in the garage across the street from the hotel. Also, next to the coffee pot was a bottle of water that we thought was complimentary. It cost $2 to use the water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but beware of the hidden charges.

“This hotel is centrally located but I as a female was not comfortable walking at night. It is in front of the bus station. The smoking rooms have not been updated and even when asked to have the room fogged to remove some of the smoke the smell was unbearable. It has even permeated my briefcase. The smoking rooms need to have the carpet removed and replaced with tile and have a window to open. There are no fans in the washroom. Microwaves and fridges are usually standard in hotels now but not here.”

“I loved this hotel, my boyfriend and I went to Windsor to hit up the bars at night, and we were within about 2-3 blocks of most of the bars. It was the perfect location for our trip.”

“Good location with beautiful Detroit river view, but needs to be refurbished. It would have been nice to have been offered the river view since the hotel was nearly empty, but it wasn't offered. I wouldn't go back there again. Too many better choices.”

“Entrance on Riverside Dr. was full of cars left by hotel guests. After we took our luggage to
the room, the staff could not locate the owners of the 2 vehicles blocking us in. After a 20 minutes wait we had to drive over the curb to get our car out.”

“When I got in the room, it had not been cleaned and I was weary and disappointed. However, they quickly changed my room, provided a staff member to assist me and the second room was nicer and was to my original expectations. After that, the experience was pleasant.”

“This Radisson is very nice. The City Centre building to which the Radisson is attached and through which visitors access the parking isn't very well maintained, but everythihg about the hotel itself is top-notch.”
