“You wouldn't get information how to get to this hotel from the airport by public transport unless you enquire the hotel by email or telephone, because most visitors to this city are Spanish themselves who drive to this hotel. Infact, you can take the Subway to Plaza de Toro and then take a red bus No.7 from the side street there to Reu Sec which is three minutes' walk to the hotel. The journey takes about 15 minutes from de Toro to the hotel. There is a night bus N7. The hotel is facing a huge round about with nothing much in the locality. The hotel serves no dinner but there is one restaurant (Mind you have no other choice!) behind which serves good food. The hotel is clean but there is one peculiar point. There is no blanket except a thin sheet in the bed. If you want something to supplement that, you simply have to get the larger towels from the bathroom to cover your body if you find chilly. The TV has two channels for English speaking people, namely CNN and Euro sport only.”

“You wouldn't know how get to this hotel by public transport from the airport unless you ring to this hotel. Actually you can take the tube from the airport to Plaza de Toro and then from a red bus No.7 at the side street to the stop called Reu Sec to the hotel which is three minutes away. The entire bus journey takes about 15 minutes. The hotel is quite clean. It serves breakfast but no dinner service. You have to take your dinner at a restaurant behind the hotel. This is the only restaurant in the vicinity which has nothing else otherwise. There is no fridge in the room. If you want some cold drink, you have to go to the lobby with coins to get it from the machine. If you have cold meat or cold items, you have a problem to preserve them cool in the room. You are provided with a sheet in the bed but without blankets. If you feel chilly at night, you simply have to get the towels from the bath room to cover yourself. However, it's a clean hotel. The TV has two channels in English, i.e. CNN and Euro sport. If you are not interested in sports, you then watch other programs which speaks Spanish, German or French without subtitles. When I watch CNN, I was always mistaken to think there was road work outside because the noise of that channel sound as if the road was being digged up outside. Is the hotel romantic? You must be joking. What you see from the window is a huge round about with thousands of cars moving a fountain in the middle of the roads. You don't find anything else in the vicinity - not even shops, but it may be good for business travelers doing business with the small factories in that area because they have a car park underneath, and once the bus stops at Plaza de Toro, non-drivers can take the tube and trains to other parts of Spain quite conveniently. Two train stations are not far from de Toro. Going to the city centre by bus costs only 1.20 Euro each way and much cheaper than London.”

“The hotel itself is nice, clean, friendly, staff can speak English if you need fairly fluently. The location of the hotel is not really close to anything in decent walking distance- not the beach, the shopping, the train, the port, or anything and that was disappointing. The room price was not so bad so if you want to factor in cab prices to get everywhere, approx. 10 Euro with tip, could be a decent deal, but not if you are hoping to have much to do within walking distance. Buses that they recommend are very slow with all the stops and will cost about 5 Euro round trip to get anywhere so splitting a cab can be much faster and semi-cost effective, metro is available but I never rode on it on this trip and am glad not to have in light of the horrible accident that occurred the day after I left Valencia. Overall a nice hotel, bad location.”
