“Absolutely dated. Hotel Villa Fontaine Roppongi Annex was built in the mid 80's and it shows. Tired and worn out, lots of things like the giant pool in the atrium with no water in it, stained carpet, unattractive lobby, cheap old TVs, ugly bathrooms. The windows in many of the rooms don't close properly, so you hear wind noise and traffic. All heating/AC is centralized, so there is no way to change the temperature in the rooms. It was freezing here in June. I switched several rooms. The freeway side of the building is noisier than the other sides. The twin rooms are more modern feeling but still dated. Breakfast was terrible.”

“The Roppongi Prince Hotel, an average hotel geared toward the average Japanese/foreign customer, is one of the older hotels among the advertised properties in Tokyo. The rooms are worn and in need of carpet/upholstery upgrades, but bed linens and bathrooms are clean. Tourists and businessmen alike will appreciate the hotel's central location in Roppongi, but the hotel lacks the comfort and look of higher grade properties.”
