• Okay location, nice lobby
• Old and small rooms; fixtures literally falling apart; loud construction during the day; they lost one of our reservations.

“The Orchard Hotel has an okay location, at the end of Orchard Road, and the lobby is large and inviting. That's where the good stuff ends, unfortunately. The rooms are small and in need of updating. The bathroom fixtures were literally falling apart. There was loud construction on the floor above all day. ”

• hotel staff very friendly
• room a bit shabby for the price and didn't like the early morning construction work

“The Orchard Hotel is very well-located on Orchard Road in Singapore. The staff are very friendly and the hotel feels welcoming. We found the room to be a bit shabby for the price (sagging matress, etc) It was also somewhat loud upstairs and in the rooms around us. In addition, there was construction work going on in the hotel which started around 8am so it wasn't a great place for jet lag! I would find another place to stay in Singapore next time.”

“I have stayed at the Orchard Hotel several times now as it is a convenient location for what I need to do in Singapore. I have found the staff very friendly and the rooms very clean (nothing spectacular but more than I need for these quick trips). There is a Starbuck''s across the road!”

“If only there is a shuttle to the airport. It was no problem to get a taxi from this hotel to take us anywhere, but having a shuttle is comforting rather than a taxi. In addition to the above, the people at Orchard was helpful in solving the issues.”
