• Great location, nice rooms.
• No pool.

“Very nice staff. Clean, comfortable and very centrally located. Short walk to Little India and to the MRT station. Nice food court nearby with a wide range of reasonably-priced ethnic food.”

• Liked my room; lots of colonial charm; a pretty place in good location.
• They lost my postcards.

“A charming hotel with generally cheerful staff just doesn¿t use their mail service. Sent 7 correctly addressed postcards from the front desk and 2 months later my family and friends are still waiting for them. Management is less than helpful...”

• Nice spa pools and gym, very kind staff. Good food.
• Not so clean. Room small, furniture a little run down. Overpriced.

“Nice to stay near Little India. Parts of the hotel (the courtyard, gym, whirlpools) are very nice. Our room, in the older part of the hotel, was less nice. A little run-down, not sparkling clean. Overall it was fine, though and the staff were great. Seems expensive, but so does everywhere else in Singapore.”

• Wonderfully convenient location.
• It needs some housekeeping improvements.

“It is somewhat charming and has a convenient locations. However, it needs some improvement in housekeeping and routine painting of hallways, etc.”
