• Lots of breakfast options.
• No newspapers, no maps of the area, no knowledge of other London HI Express locations.

“The hotel was fine, close to the subway. No newspapers available, however. And the staff had no map available of the area. Nor did they have knowledge of where the HI Express -- Earl's Court was located. Nor did they make any effort to find out. It's near the Earl's Court tube station, they guessed
wrong.”

“We had a nice stay at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a great start to our day. We also enjoyed the rooms and it was in a convenient location, very close to the tube.”

• Good location for transport links and cafe's.
• The shower stall was a bit small.

“Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a standard hotel room with a comfortable bed and the shower was very good. There is an underground station about three minutes walk away and there are excellent bus links at the same location. The hotel is well situated for Canning Town Center which has a good selection of cafe type eateries. Would stay there again.”

• Super-clean, modern ensuite toilet/shower and
  breakfast.
• No bath tub (shower only), no snack-bar, restaurant.

“This hotel is quite close to Jubilee tube station and DLR (Docklands Light Rail) for quick access to the Canary Wharf district. Also a short 15-minute walk to the EXCEL Centre (and cheaper than hotels there). The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. I would stay at this hotel for any functions at the Excel Centre.”

• Staff really made effort to satisfy me.
• Lighting was all fluorescent which is green but not as soothing.

“Pleasant, clean hotel. Perfect for business or short stay. They also do full breakfast included in cost of stay, I think, but I didn't have time to have it.”

• Typical Holiday Inn, express no problem.
• Location.

“Area is only construction and warehouse type businesses. A couple of small local pubs and convenience stores. Any other stores and restaurants are at least 8 blocks away.”

• The desk man was incredibly helpful and accommodating.
• The staff was not helpful or friendly for the most part.

“For the price the hotel was fairly nice, but the staff was not helpful or friendly and it is a bit out of the way.”
